How Desert Trees are Becoming the Next Chocolate ft. Mez Foods
Our next guests are brothers and founders of an alternative chocolate brand, Mez Foods. But the implications of how revolutionary mesquite is makes this a very exciting time for these two. Their challenge is to introduce a product that is more sustainable (environmentally and production-wise), price competitive, and nutritive to cacao. This was truly an insightful episode that just kept unraveling. Please enjoy my conversation with Ben and Bob Schultz of Mez Foods.

Who Are We Without Our Work? ft. Chef Francis Pascal
Переглядів 2621 годину тому
We reflect on our identities as both of us find a lot of fulfillment from our work. But who are we without it? Can there still be meaning without it? Or are we purposeless and without a community without our work? Full episode: ua-cam.com/video/E9IzKkm5-bA/v-deo.html
Don't F*ck It Up ft. Chef Francis Pascal
Переглядів 1221 годину тому
A reflection of what Chef Francis meant when he said, "don't fuck it up." When we become in tune with how beautiful nature is and how many things had to happen (or not happen) in order for us to be here in this very moment, it's amazing. So we strive to carry forth that same sentiment to our consumers through our work. Full episode: ua-cam.com/video/E9IzKkm5-bA/v-deo.html

Julz, it’s crazy to see such a wild year summed up like this and see how far we’ve come. I truly appreciate you! The blessings you have are a reflection of the person you are to those around you and the hard work you’ve put in. Let go of any imposter syndrome; you are exactly where you’re meant to be for a reason. Thank you for providing this man with a platform to share his story, and allowing Krackish and Kanin to be seen.

Don't be friends with your kid. Be their parent. Adolescents are NOT little adults; they're immature, incomplete people. I've coached children for 15 years, and EVERY time I had a difficult student, that student has a difficult parent. Not always the other way around (some kids are good in spite of their parents), but DEFINITELY the former.
I went through this last weekend with no equipment, was not great
Wowwwww.
I would like to invest please
Thanks for the podcast. Good work champ. But maybe make less noises when the guests are talking, its a bit distracting.
thanks for this! Great interview....
Great interview! Robert's a good friend of mine and I really enjoyed hearing his story through your questions.
Amazing!! I truly appreciate that.

Hi Victor, I want to thank you for starting this podcast. I was recommend this episode by someone I follow on Twitter and I began listening to others on Spotify. I am in my late twenties. I am currently pretty lost in life, unsure of which way to go. This is isolating and disheartening. I am lucky to be a relatively optimistic person so I can still look at my life with hope. The episodes I've listened to have also helped me keep perspective of my own life's journey. Keep doing what you're doing:) Thanks again!
Hi there! I am so glad you found us! I'm on a personal path of self-discovery and mastery as well. It's never ending! Wherever you're at, you're there for a reason. But you always have a choice of how you see things. I'm so glad some of the episodes have been helpful. I'm always here to bounce ideas. Cheers, Vic
@@VictorMFChan Thank you for the kind words! I also just enjoy listening to people’s life stories. I finished listening to the episode featuring Lawrence Dunning and I appreciate the motivation and different perspectives he brought. Your aim with this podcast seems to be not just having the same viewpoints brought in each episode. I think that’s what makes a genuine podcast. The point isn’t to agree with everything someone else says. We cant live our lives in an echo chamber.
Great person. Great podcast. Great episode. New subscriber!

Should we turn on suction once we put the tip inside the patient & suction out?
Hi, I’m taking the EMT class now and bound to graduate next week. I turn on the suction prior to putting the catheter in the mouth. Just do not “apply” suction until you’re pulling the nozzle out of the mouth. This is done by covering the hole on the handle to apply suction.
Kevin is so humble that he didn't mention the long commute from Gurnee to the city when he was helping his family AND working at the wellness center. Much respect!
