This guy is a tool and this video was a waste of time, I want a refund for watching it.
But what if heel is a soft type?
You used masking tape and then made a mess of the clean up. How exactly did shoo goo let you down? A bad worker always blames his tools
It worked, but the shape didn’t turn out right because the form you used was not firm enough to hold the desired shape. If you look at the Shoe Goo videos, you’ll notice they use strips of plastic sheeting, or cardboard strips cut from old packaging. Which are much thicker and firmer than masking tape alone. Or if they use masking tape, they fold it over 3/4s of the way leaving a small strip of the sticky side which adheres around the back of the heel. Leaving the thicker folded over side at the top to serve as the form. Try it again using a thicker, firmer form as I described and you’ll have success. Also notice how they squeeze out the goo, they start at the left side of the form and go slowly and steadily back and forth from side to side in rows of goo to fill the gap. They don’t use the stick that much.
Where can you buy this product/adhesive?

Why pay twice the price for a new pair to have them repaired? It's by no means a unique shoe.
Do you know how valuable are church’s shoes? These are probably (nowadays) 1300$

@@railmaster.7752the restoration wouldn’t cost $1,500 the implication is the shoe go for that amount new. Service like this would maybe be a couple hundred bucks, tops. You could get them resoled for that much at many cobblers
@@railmaster.7752you’ve misunderstood the title of the video - the refurb didn’t cost 1550, it was the price of the shoes originally.

Just use wooden shoes trees all the time is the answer. Any moron knows this. Never use glue on rubber soles; they destroy shoes.
easy cowboy where did you see the glue. He added acryllic finish to seal the paint.
