MORBID MAN - International Feel:Never Never Land
Great cover, I'd like to see one of Supper's Ready!
it is already on my page!!
great song, excellently done! --love, KK.
TY
This was my jam as a kid. My parents had Ram, Band on the Run, and Tug of War in their records and we listened to them religiously. El Dorado by ELO was another record that the grooves we extremely worn.
I can see that combo!
@morbidmanmusic my dad had lots of blues and jazz records too, but everything went to the wayside once I found Jimi Hendrix. Then my guitar hero listening to was born.
AWESOME take!
Cool ….. love the chorus
The likeness is accurate
can't stray far on a song like that..
I’m gonna comment This is an artful interpretation of a slice of pure songwriting
Peter's reverse mowhawk is such an iconic look!
no doubt
@morbidmanmusic the only other time I have seen a reverse mowhawk was in a movie called King Kung Fu!
Can you do Mouth Breather by Jesus Lizard?
I'll look at some of those suggestions! Oddly, it is hard for me to get motivated these days.
@morbidmanmusic I understand friend, I have a family health problem and other than caring for them I can't seem to motivate myself to do anything else. Micro doses of mushrooms help sometimes.
Dope!
This shocked my monkey right out of the coconut tree..... _(This can be my testimony.)_
You sound like you've been followed by a moon shadow....
another good one
Well done. This song has always been a prayer..... but you knew that. Namaste.
I started in my late teens as a bottom of the food chain working player in Hollywood in '67. Monday night at the Troubadour, a folk-rock club in those days, was an open mic where people networked and got gigs....... so many stories. One night the Carpenters showed up, and everyone was amazed the drummer was a woman.....
Nicely done. Remember when "MIDI" was a type of ladies clothing?
wow, No! I had no idea of the midi clothes. Something new everyday!
Love your version! Klaatu is awesome! Can you cover Flaming Lips Spoonful Weights A Ton? Or something else off from Soft Bulletin?
Great and difficult to believe what I heard 😮 so perfect 👍
Thank you for the kind comment! I was, and still am a HUGE Fan of YES.
Hey guys, nice track! And I love that bass solo.
thanks. No guys, just little ole me. Hope all is well
That solo is a shredder. Always have loved it.
same!~ it is the second song that solo is on. he did it before too.
@@morbidmanmusic what's the other song?
@@BIZARBIES Bill Haley And The Saddlemen's version of "Rock the Joint" i
Now thats a hit single......
Weeks Beaupre
So good so good
Who's gonna get mad? This was great, love it!
it has happened. ....
Love this!!!
Thanks Lori!!
Love this!!!
wow.
I liked this era of Cheap Trick.
too noisy for me lol, but I'm sure you played it spot on :D
Brilliant as always. Good to see you're still at it, again, JW. Love, KK.
Excellent... If you keep up this pace there's going to be any songs left for you to cover
I'm going to have to give up soon anyway~ old age
@@morbidmanmusic nevah!
So good, so accurate, right down to the bass slaps in the verse.
That guy was a good singer. Powerful.
Stand your ground Jasso!!! LOVE IT ❤
🤘🏻
I was hoping this was going to be Neil Youngs Helpless.
Maybe that's next. :) much harder song to do, though. And much more beautiful a song. Neil really had some serious swings at bat!!
@@morbidmanmusic he sure in heck did! Tonight's the Night is one of my favorites.
Jimmy I really love this Who is it never heard it before
@@georgebeaupre2938 John Mayer
Excellent as always Weeksy
I had never heard of Sparks until about 6 months ago when I watched them on an episode of Midnight Special. What a cool band! I believe the guitarist was using a Guild S-100, white and beautiful. I have a 1973 S-100 I bought in 1990 for $125, highly reliced for free! 😂
Loved those guilds, I had the original GUILD les paul, and sg when I was 16
@morbidmanmusic yeah, mine is the SG. It's pickups are so good, and it's a very light and resonate guitar.
Holding that note for four measures (did I count that right?) - whew! Great cover of a very cool song!
Ha, you did count that right!~
Excellent...... ❤ Love this song
Green Mind was an important album for me in 1991. I wore the first copy out.
I really Enjoy the way J plays drums to his songs. He is an excellent thinking drummer. Guitar.. either way. It never stood out to me.
@@morbidmanmusic he had absolutely the loudest guitar rig I've ever heard personally. It was so loud that they didn't even mic his stacks... 3 full stacks in a club that held 1100 people.
JIM! I’ve been occasionally searching for this for years. I’ve had to substitute the Dianna Jones version. Mighty different.
Well, Glad you found it again! 💥i saw her sing it once acapella, when her guitar string broke. In a living room with no pa. My hair stood up and I did this the next day.
Banger cover
Thanks!
Great album.
they just come and go!
@morbidmanmusic what ypur opinion of the band Spirit? 12 Dreams of Dr Sardonicus is one of my favorite albums of all time.
I'll have to listen. I never ever listened to them.
@morbidmanmusic it has Randy California in the band. He was the guitar player kid that Jimi Hendrix wanted to take with him to England in 1966, but he was only 16 years old and wasn't able to.
So cool.
TY.
You're a crazy man, you know that?😆😆 Well, at least I'm glad you did the short version - that drum solo is a killer. Thank you!
Ha! yeah, My head can't handle the large scale stuff at the moment. Thanks, It was fun and funny!
I can't believe this. I was just thinking what Beatles song would I like to hear you cover - and this was it!! Great job on such a beautiful, melancholy song.
I am not sure what made me do this way Hard to believe we got the Beatles AND Yes in our lifetime!
Intro sound like "Judy in Disguise" by John Fred and His Playboy Band. The only Gary Lewis song I really remember is "This Diamond Ring". Oh, and "Count Me In".
LOL 0:54 I always thought it was "feed the ducks with a bum" 😆
A perfect cover! So faithful to the original. I'm no expert, but copying Stewart Copland can't be easy!
no, he isn't. I struggled to barely get by. I appreciate your kind comment on that. I loved him and Terry Bozzio. I had, and still have that over abundance of "nerdy drummer" energy! I'd only be even more annoying without drums!! I honestly feel I'd lose my $hit without them. The only replacement would be a good dog, for sanity.
My favorite Aerosmith song!
That whole record is a work of art in their catalog, for me.
Outstanding! Thanks!
One of my favorites.
same! Loved all the earlier PG up to about "so"
Love your snare tones MM!
Pearl, 6 1/2 x14 BRASS. A Black Beauty at half the price!!always really high, or really low. Kinda like me.
