Integrated Engineering Valve Cover install!

Today we installed IE's Valve cover along with new spark plugs,coipacks, and IE's boost cap to block off the pce valve. It was a learning experience but a fun one! Hope you enjoy the video!

I’ve just bought these exact lights off ecs tuning and I’m confused because the yellow led strip which I assume is for indicators is on with the brake lights and it’s using my fog and reverse light as indicator lights when I indicate doesn’t make sense I’ve matched all wires together and got it all hooked up please help me
Hmm only thing I can think of is double check the wiring.
@@CameronLee is it just white with white yellow with yellow and black with black if so that’s what I’ve done 🤷🏽♂️

They are 10pin helix projectors. They are no longer sold from what I can tell.

Where did you get that rear bumper?
It was an oem votex rear bumper I bought from ecs tuning. It’s no longer made so has to be bought 2nd hand. It was swapped out for a European r32 rear bumper
The front bumper molding n the door ones did u just paint them the color of your car or you bought them like that ?

You're so competent. Can you show us how you did the Center console armrest (with air ducts)? and where you bought them? SInce this car is 15+ years old, it's hard to find these things anymore.
I bought the arm rest off of facebook on a mkv Volkswagen page. For the install it was pretty straight forward. It is a lot of screws but otherwise it’s just remove and replace.

Nice car, but I wish you had a list of your purchases.. the headlght 10 pin look-a-likes would of been nice. t cut off soo fast. newly acquired Rabbit owner here 2009
The 10pin headlights I bought from Urotuning, and if I remember correctly they are made by Helix. But they are discontinued now

I’m not sure on codes yet haven’t got the catch can installed yet so haven’t started her back up. I bought the boost cap off Integrated Engineering’s website.

I want to buy this for my rabbit, is it worth now?I see mixed reviews/ taillights look epic, but a few people in the comments section say that they had problems with it after 2 years etc etc, I’m curious if it’s worth getting them even with the hassle?
I have not had a single problem with mine once I figured out the wiring was wrong.
I have the same for my 2008 R32 and I don’t like the taillights with the brake lights simultaneously. It’s not legal in my state neither. Had to return them. Plus also the some of the LED bulb went in and out.

Most parts I bought from ecstuning, or Facebook pages. Depending on what you’re looking for ecstuning, Urotuning, or mk5 Facebook pages will have used stuff.

Does the Beetle steering wheel controls work? Also does the Airbag work? Just curious. I also own a Modded MK5 Rabbit (original owner for 16 years). But the only thing I never wanted to touch was the steering wheel lol.
I don’t have the controls wired up. Never looked into buying the harness for that. But the beetle airbag was a direct swap nothing needed to be changed.

did you cut the rear wheels fenders?
They have had bodywork to be a little wider.
Is the RC330 head unit synced with the steering wheel functions? Bluetooth, volume, etc.
It is not. I just have to buy an adapter and I could get it to work. Just haven’t yet.
Are there paddle shifters on the steering wheel? Do they work
Nevermind I figure it out that there isn’t paddle shifters as your is manual trans
*CORRECTION* THE DAP MK3 has a TSI motor, in the clip I accidentally said FSI. Don’t flame me too much! 😂

@@oSpec that was the votex rear bumper. It’s really hard to find and is not cheap at all when you find them these days. Can only find them used

Cameron I don't have an iPhone, but I know the speakers on them are quality. On my (almost) worn out Android, this video sounds a tad bit 'tinney'. I am just wondering if its the location of the mic near your voice box or could it be with that mic you need to up the bass a bit on your phone?

Just got a 07 mk5 last October. She was neglected 😢 oil was low and black, car lot said they put $1000 into it to get it back on the road. I changed the spark plugs. They looked like factory ones with 140k miles on them. Electrode posts were almost completely gone. Talking like quarter inch spark plug gap. Been changing the oil every 2k miles trying to clean up the engine. Just got it out of the shop today for an a/c recharge. been looking for UA-cam channels for inspiration. New sub here.
Hopefully you get it back up to par and get to enjoy it for a long time!
