The most incredible live orbs, Halloween, during the Blue Moon 2020
Переглядів 583 роки тому
Late at night on Hallowe'en, which happened to be a blue moon (when the veil between dimensions is apparently at it's thinnest) I was watching a TV programme about Cliff Richard. Fiddling with my phone, I noticed that when I videoed the room with the flash on, I could see all the orbs flying around my room. This was filmed in one take, with no editing or alteration. I tried to film them again t...

Trumpton and Chigley - all the music from (1976)
Переглядів 84 тис.8 років тому
For many people, the most memorable thing about the the Trumptonshire trilogy will be the songs and the music. The music itself was composed and played by Freddie Phillips while the lyrics were written by both Gordon Murray and Freddie Phillips. See www.t-web.co.uk/trumpmus.htm for more I have no idea why Lisa Lashes is credited for this below??

From the 1973 album, Roll On Ruby. Filmed in the fields off New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent.
Brilliant
Takes me back to a very happy childhood
Thank You So Much...❤
Time flies by when you’re the driver of a train steaming out of Trumpton with a cargo of cocaine 👍
I would love if they brought this back but kept it in its early 20th century look, don’t try and update it or try and don’t try and make it “diverse”

Farmer bell in chigley with digger
Although it wasnt a 'commercial' success for the band back then it would probably be a massive hit for one of the modern bands today, so as was often the case for Lindisfarne they were well ahead of their time.
Freddie Phillips on guitar.....superb!
0:39 My favourite music of the Trumpton series.
Wonferful! Surely Bibio heard this at a formative age?
wonderful our department store had an animated window in 1971 femwicks of newcastles first animated window
Beautiful.
its annoying they couldnt fit all of them on here. I quite like the fishing song tbh
Wonderful stuff, from a more innocent time, I have all 3 series on dvd and after a few drinks, the wife and I transport ourselves back to our childhoods. Brian Cant = Legend.
I remember all this from my childhood growing up as a toddler in the 60s & 70s! Thank you for the great upload.
I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could. Just to hug my mum again 😢
43:20 When all the factory workers would come out and dance in a square at the end of the day. Memories!
At gunpoint.
Absolutely brilliant. Happy childhood days. Still love these 50 years on , oh to go back to these times with mum and dad, also sadly gone.
this is wonderful, timeless (:
These are the tracks from Chigley I know about from one of TurboJUK's videos: 27:37 - Time Flies By When I'm The Driver Of A Train 38:41 - Bats In The Belfry (Brackett The Butler's Song)
as far as I am aware, Bats In The Belfry was only ever song once, mostly it was used as an instrumntal piece.
@@stuartharris2165 Right. I remember seeing a few Chigley episodes that featured the instrumental version of the song while I was trying to find the episode that had the vocals in the song

The Stately Home
My son with Down Syndrome still watches these on UA-cam and sometimes I get out my viola and play along to our favourite songs.
Hands down, best UA-cam comment ever. <3
This soundtrack is undoubtedly one of the greatest in the history of children's television
So much talent and effort for kids' programs back in the 60's and 70's, beautiful.
The best comp ever. I'm on discogs i need this.
Ahhh the Fire Brigade theme and the Trumpton Dance starting at 20:38!! Childhood bliss!
I WAS BORN IN 2007 AND I STILL WATCHED THIS AS A KID
I was born in 1967 and I'm STILL listening to it...
@@CamperVanPersie same here!
@James Blight: Then your parents are legends, bringing you up properly!
I have not watched this since 2008 and I was only born in 2006
Superb upload, thanks
Ahh the sound of my childhood, now where can I get a TAB book for all of these amazing pieces.......
I used to own the tab book for this album but lost it
Gordon Murray, Freddie Phillips, and Brian Cant and everybody involved with these the Trumptonshire programmes my childhood was the best growing up in the 1970's :) but I was upset on the passing of Gordon Murray and Brian Cant but I remember when trumptonshire trilogy came out in 1966 and 1967 Murray paid over the odds to make sure all the programmes were made in Colour as UK TV television didn't come out in Colour until 1968 and then Chigley came out in 1969
I grew up with this in the 60's. Wonderful stuff. Scary thing is, the number of songs I still remember the words to!! 😱
RIP Brian Thank you for the happy memories

RIP Brian Cant
Nick Sweetman Rip :(

Brian provided the vocal characterisations and sang the songs. My younger sister and I used to call a house on Brookside in Carshalton Winksteed Hall because of the pink colour on the outside and this was from the days when we had quality television without the proliferation of reality game shows.
Even though I'm not from the 60s (I was born in early 90s), the music of Trumpton trilogy is very charming!
I own a steam driven beam engine
I own a railway and I called it Chigley and the village Camberwick Green and I named a town Trumpton there the whole set of name in real life
Super!
I had a cat called Chigley. Now long gone sniff....
So many beautiful childhood memories.
To Gordon Murray, one of the people who give me childhood memories that I will remember forever. RIP
