Do you use saw dust in your bricks mate ?.

curious.... do paper briquettes need to burn as hot as wood .... when it comes to preventing Creosote creation in flue, for secondary burn etc.. As in, am wondering if there is way less ignitable gas in the smoke compared to wood burning, that can even be burned? If not then the possibly the flue temps less than the optimal for wood of 300-500f would be fine.. As long as there is enough draft to push carbon monoxide out the flue, maintain the fire and enough heat production to add an value in warmth?

This press so much faster than the others I've seen. No bits & pieces to fumble with....just press & repeat!!

I've had my Briquette maker press about 8 years now. I must have made 10k briquettes using sawdust. A friend has just bought one and the quality has dropped. It's been simplified for production, but it's not a patch on yours 8 years ago. I've made a couple of videos. You should be proud of what you achieved.

Great design and result, although I might suggest a sloping under tray, so no need to tilt, I think it’s the only mod it needs

Think this has come at the right time considering the price of gas and electric ⚡️. I know people who have got a multi burner stove installed in there homes .
