Taking the bikes out for a stroll from McLaren Flat to Noarlunga approx 50km round trip. My wife’s bike was not working, power was surging, when we got home it was a 2 second fix by pushing the magnetic sensor back into position. The sensor tells the motor when to power.

Outback road trip from Roxby Downs via the Borefield track to Marree. Found some interesting along the way. It was great to stop and stretch the legs looking at things that you would think came from Mad Max. From Marree we visit the ghost town of Farina, fly the drone over Leigh creek's coal mine and Aroona dam. Then last stop before home Kanyaka station's ruins

@@onebesttrade...7520 Hi, I’m 5’11

@ yes, lost a little now. At 127kg
heaps cool video!
@@courtneymcbride2085 thank you
My hubby just told me that all rail lines in SA used to be fenced. Maybe that’s the remnants.
It sure is! I believe it is a fence, likely to stop people driving down to the lake
Some train Ken! 😮. What is the line between the road and rail line? Is it a fence?
This was originally lambing paddocks.
....I get 5 miles per volt on my Moscow Plus 29er...an honest 40 miles to hit one bar with the 16a battery, with the bike doing most of the work and using the throttle to goose it away from the dead-stops..never take it out of top gear, unless going up a serious grade...
Thank you enjoyed the video cheers Robbie from Adelaide
The Berger and chips looks fantastic looks like a good pub Williams Creek cheers
Sure was, the old pub has character
Love the spa in the middle of nowhere still watching the video
It’s absolutely great to have this for $2 in the middle of nowhere, it’s a long video this one
This is a fantastic video it’s great to see these old homes and places thank you for sharing cheers
Thank you very much. It sure is, hopefully they stand for future generations to see
This farmer certainly got creative for Australia Day. While I am here, any more ebike rides coming up.
Definitely did! Ah yes there will be, looking at doing the Gawler to Jacob creek ride by the end of month, I have been a bit slack with the riding due to change of jobs, but looking at doing a ride monthly. I’m in qld next week but unfortunately without the bikes
@@KMadventurers It may be a bit warm up here in Qld for a ride at the moment.
I follow a bike rider up here in Brisbane who has some interesting rides. Not an ebike but still interesting to watch his rides. www.youtube.com/@jelbuilderfilms
Can you explain this please? Did the farmer reap his crop (lots of lines crossing each other) then ploughed the field with this design? Very creative farmer celebrating Australia Day.
Hello, yes. A young farmer from Freeling only ploughed the design. It looks he might of slashed the paddock down first. He was on the news and apparently it only took him 2 hours to plough the whole design. Absolutely creative!
@@KMadventurers ah thank you.
That is great, thanks
Definitely something different
I’m a complete newbie to e-bikes and I’m trying to decide between the Milano T3 or the Moscow M3. I want mine for commuting and cruising but I’d also like to be able to ride it on trails as well, would you recommend the Milano for that?
Hi, you will love any e-bike! I would recommend the Milano T3 if you want do to a little bit on the trails. The Milano is a very comfortable bike for long distances. You won’t be disappointed
Recently picked up the NCM Prague - awesome video this. Thanks
They are a good choice of e bike, no issues with them. Thank you for watching
Live around the corner from encounter bikeway. Is Mrs Speedys tires bigger than your bike? Probably why she keeps smoking you
Haha yes Mrs Speedys tyre are and a much lighter bike too. Hers are 29”
It sure is nice countryside in the southern districts. I just moved to goolwa beach and seriously thinking about an e bike to explore a bit
Sure is! Definitely an e bike, ride to the bluff and back. Makes it a very enjoyable ride
Hi, used to go to tarcoola in the 80s to pick up dets 5x 1000 in cartons and fuse for the supermarket. was supplied with 3 cartons of beer just in case of a big bang...
Hahaha the Big Bang! Least the pub would of been open then
yep😄😄😄😄😄
Ken did you ever find out what that spooky noise was? I think it was in Ep1 but I can’t see this on your channel.
No, no I didn’t. I removed the video because I didn’t like the quality. I have never heard the noise again
Do not get this bike it is a scam, they are sold by Leon cycles, they only an online store and have not physical address. Leon cycles will not honour the warranty and will ignore your emails. If your in the UK they will give a number to France to call. They have an email address but they will not answer it, also good luck getting new battery if you need one you cannot if your in the UK. Most online sellers will not ship them to the UK. So avoid like the plaque they are scammers. Do a charge back to get your money from your bank and also insure the bike.
Really interesting and cool video, thank you
Thank you, thank you for watching
thanks for the vid...
You’re very welcome
Great recap. I do hope those damaged buildings in Blanchtown are demolished and cleaned up. They will be an real eyesore if left to deteriorate further. Mannum is looking pretty good. Thanks for posting.
@@narellescott1369 thank you 😊 a few have been bulldozed down, but there is still a lot left. I would say the council would have to step in soonish and ask for removal. Mannum is looking good, even 9 months on can still the affects of the flood. Thank you again for watching
Wow! Brilliant crisp photography. Nice 👍
Thank you! Appreciate your comment 👍
Absolutely fantastic video and trip you had. We certainly live in a country of extremes from the flooding early this year to this barren country side. It’s good to see the Flinders so green though. The abandoned coal mine is HUGE, it’s a shame it isn’t active. There was not another soul or vehicle to be seen, they are real ghost towns. I’d love to go up there one day. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you 😊 it was a great little get away. We do indeed! Flinders was looking great. It was eerie looking at a mine with no movement, big hole with nothing happening. Thank you again for watching 😊
Aww thank you very much! Drones are magical little things, let’s us see from a Birds Eye view. I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊 Thank you for watching
Superb drone footage...you just do the best videos. To be able to view historical sites and landscapes of our beautiful state from the air is so awesome. Thank you for sharing. Backing music chosen is so lovely to listen to also. Well done.
Thanks for sharing this video, my son lives in Adelaide and next time I'm there I will definitely be checking out this bike trail. I've been watching a few of your videos, keep up the good work.
You’re very welcome, and thank you for watching. It’s great ride along the Torrens into the city. When the weather warms up a bit I plan to put a few more out. Thanks again
Great viewing! I just learnt that the ocean you filmed is the Indian Ocean, I didn’t know it came that far around the southern coast. I thought it was the Great Southern Ocean. I’ll have to have a good look on Maps, we all learn something new every day! 😂
Wow 😮 I did not know that! I really thought the same that it would the southern! I’m with you on that, learning something new every day 😂 thank you for pointing that out
@@KMadventurers my hubby who has lived in SA all his life argued with me, he said that’s not right! I have yet to show him what Apple Maps says. I’ll see what Google says. The learning continues 😁
That was awesome footage. As an ex YP girl, thank you for a different perspective of the scenery. Beautifully done.
Ah thank you very much, YP definitely has stunning scenery
Is that the 26 or 28 size ?, I’ve had my Moscow plus 29er for over 2 years and looking at the Milano as an upgrade for the mrs .
Hi it’s the 28, the 26 would of been better for my wife but it was the only one in the shop. However she liked the 28, very nice cruising bike
I bought one here in Canada. 500watt das, and omg I love this bike. Last time I rode a bike was and old mountain bike I would use to get to work and back 5 years ago. We have a bridge here in Winnipeg called the Arlington Bridge, and it has steep right angles to get up and I could not ride it with a regular bike. Always had to get off and walk it up half way. I am 56 years old, and trying to get back in some shape, and the first time I took the milano up that steep bridge, I flew up at 16 kilometers per hour without breaking a sweat! You do and can very easy get a decent workout with an e-bike, because you tend to travel farther and explore. I would definately recommend this as a good entry e-bike!
Absolutely awesome bike! Wow 500w! I know what the 250w can do… I have to find one to have a try. There is definitely a wow factor when you ride them cause you remember when you last rode your old bike and then hop on one of these! They sure do give you a workout and a 50km ride is nothing anymore, I honestly thought a 5km ride on my old bike was bad haha now I want to do those 50km plus rides. Well done and thank you for watching 😁
It's amazing what is uncovered during those situations!
Absolutely! Probably more under all that mud
@@KMadventurers probably😃
So very interesting! I’m guessing that SA Water was aware of the bridge’s existence. It’s a substantial structure still in great shape. Thanks for the video.
Yes very interesting! Going by news articles and their website SA Water was not aware of this bridge. Last week The local historical society told SA Water that someone seen the top part of the bridge exposed during a drought in the 1960’s. The bridge has caught a lot of people by surprise
That fox(s) are certainly on the prowl! I hope no sheep have been taken. When I first saw the cat I thought you were going to share that it the cat’s purring was your unexplained spooky noise in Ep 1! Still a mystery 😮
They / it definitely are! My neighbour doesn't lamb his sheep they are just lawnmowers and he is aware of the foxes but he has said there has been no issues to date. My other neighbour 3km away owns a chicken farm, it might be an issue for him, I'm not sure how far foxes travel in a night? hahaha Oh that would be been great to explain that mystery noise, the new camera I bought has a microphone and I was hoping to capture that noise again but it has not come back..... Maybe next week
Thank you, it's good to see the river down but the devistation it has left behind is something else!
You’re very welcome ☺️ absolutely it’s good to see it back to normal levels, but it’s trail definitely is something else
Great update, thanks for sharing, poor caravan park and shack owners 😢
Thank you and your very much welcome 😁 definitely it’s sad to see and now that many didn’t have insurance
@@KMadventurers I was wondering about the insurances, especially those that are right down on those islands if they were covered for flood seeing they may have known that it floods!
@@kayenash5481 I know that the caravan park had no insurance as he was on the news talking about it. I would say many would not as they built below the 1956 level, and if they did they would not be able to insure now. Premiums would be so high you could not afford
@@KMadventurers That's what I was thinking.
Hi just got a Milano rode back from city to noalunga in head winds used 2 bars 31 k
That is great! It’s good to note the battery consumption is about the same as my wife’s. You should get on a good day 80km+ from it! They are awesome bikes
Do you still feel like you're exercising, or this purely for pleasure?
Hi, for me definitely exercising in the lower assist settings 1,2 or 3 above 3 on flat ground is pleasure for sure. The way I see it on a conventional push bike I would be stuffed after 5 - 10km and want to stop! now I will continuously ride for 50 - 60km and enjoy it, but you do still work the legs going up hills
@@KMadventurers thank you. That makes a lot of sense.
Captain Proud! We went on a luncheon cruise from Murray Bridge on 11March, their first trip since the floods. It was great, fantastic food and plenty of it. The Skipper shared so much interesting information with us. It was a full house! Highly recommended.
Fantastic! I was only saying that to my wife when I was filming the Captain that we must book a lunch cruise! Thank you very much for the recommendation😁 will be doing that soon
Thank you, boy that water will be around for awhile longer.
You’re very welcome 😁 it’s going to be around for many many months to come
Poor farmers. There is still a lot of water around!
A lot of lost land for their cattle and income
@@KMadventurers yes I'd hate to think how much lost. Our Grandfather was in the '56 flood, luckily all the cows were sent to the Adelaide hills onto dairy farms untill the water went down! He was between Murray Bridge & Tailem Bend, along those flats.
@@kayenash5481 hopefully not too much and that they had plenty of feed / bales from previous years in stock. Oh wow, yes very lucky to be able to relocate stock
@@KMadventurers Hi, yes the farmers where the cattle were sent they kept the milk in payment of looking after the cattle & then the owners never had to pay for the ajistment.
@@kayenash5481 that’s good that they did that
I feel sorry for those farmers!
Sure is back to normal levels, some parts you would of never thought a flood went through. The farmers, yes will be suffering on loss of land to feed their cattle, they would be buying in feed or reduce stock
It looks like the river is back to where it use to be!
I have been enjoying your ebike videos around Adelaide and I have nearly caught up with the list. I am at the stage of seriously considering purchasing and am convinced that the NCM is suitable for my needs. I like the Moscow plus but I think the Milano pl;us is more practical for my needs. I am worried that I may have trouble "throwing the leg over" when I get old (I am 79) so I think the Milano is best for me. I understand from your videos both you and particularly your wife are impressed with the Milano and would appreciate your comments that may assist my choice. Thanks again for the videos.
Hi thank you very much! I will be getting back to making more on the e bikes. I cannot comment on the Moscow but in comparison with the Aspen it would be a great all round bike. The Milano in my opinion is a Rolls Royce, very smooth, comfortable, you sit upright so it takes the stress away from your wrists. It is honestly built for those long rides. My Aspen is fantastic but no way near as comfortable as my wife’s. As we ride more on paths I will likely sell my Aspen and get the Milano for comfort. The plus will give you plenty of power, you will go up any hill with ease. My wife only sits on power assist 2 or 3 and that’s plenty for her. You would have no issues on the Milano! Just keep in mind the size, I accidentally bought my wife the 29” it’s a little tall for her the 28” would of been perfect. Ohh yes also be careful taking off on a hill as soon as you turn the pedal the motor will kick in and if you’re in setting 3 it will almost buck you off, I recommend setting 1 for taking off on a sharp hill. Hope this helps Cheers Ken
@@KMadventurers Thanks for getting back so quick. I see they have the plus models on special for the next couple of weeks so it may be a good time to purchase.
I would love to try out that trail one day on my NCM Miami but I don't think I could cope with the music. Are there music free days ?
It’s a great trail and an easy ride on the NCM’s. Yes, yes there are music free days
Thanks for sharing 👍
You are welcome 😊 thank you for watching 😁
Very good footage. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much 😁 and you’re very welcome
I was down at Murray Bridge at the height of the flood. Your coverage in this footage is excellent. Two years ago I also did the Mannum falls and also found very little water flowing but great walk though. Cheers 🍷👍
