Dedicated to Sonia.

Rest in peace Vladimir Yezhov
Vladimir yezhov, passd way last year in the russo Ukraine war, may be only hope he found the secret to the zone... he was a good stalker.....maybe even the best. . . .
How funny now I'm sad
The zone giveth, and the zone taketh away.
may the stalkers who didnt make it to see stalker 2 have peace, they were truely good stalkers.
If this music won't be at the campfires in Stalker 2, I promise - I am making a mod that brings it back. And probably the other campfire music as well. Maybe also the old music from the radios.
first time playing stalker... it was only my fourth day as a merc in the zone. had been taking bounty tasks and other missions thus far, and was really doing well for my first time. I was super confident. that day, i took just another bounty to rostok, home of the duty. not very good standing with duty, so i cleared out a bit of them on my own earlier. I figured it would only be a few left, so i went in alone. i did not know they had a secret bar hidden inside a bunker. I reached the location of my target, when i saw "100 rads bar" pop up on my screen. I had no idea what this meant, so i slowly approached the entrance with my gun raised. Immediately, someone came out and shot me, so i took cover. I peeked the corner, and shot the enemy down, and it turned out to be my target. But then, all of a sudden, i heard commotion and footsteps of countless more bodies inside, then from the outside reinforcements rushing to my position, and I realized how bleak my escape seemed to be. I huddled in a corner, back agaisnt the wall, and pointed my mosin at the corner, ready to fire. and soon the first enemy came out, and died with the crack of my rifle. Bang. thud. bang. thud. More kept approaching, and i kept shooting. the mountain of bodies piling up as nothing but gunsmoke and ringing in my ears pervade my senses. after another body falls, all goes silent. cautiously, i step up to the bar entrance, checking for any stragglers. no sign, so i step in and walk down the stairs. then, a stalker jumps up out of nowhere, and fires at me, hitting me but not killing me. I shoot him dead and patch up my wounds. with my gun raised, I storm the bar prepared to kill the last... until i realize there arent any more. just the barkeep and some regulars staring at me with their hands up. it was only then that my senses came to me, and my eyes refocused, and i see the carnage before me. Walking up the stairs, bodies line the halls, and blood splattered across the walls. Finally, i emerge from the bar entrance, and nothing but bodies all across the floor. I stand there, amongst the dead. I was only supposed to kill one man... only one man... I lit a cigarette, and took a long draw. Rostok was quiet that evening.
damn...
Volodymyr Anatoliyovych Yezhov He was a good stalker
I remember when i found the body of wolf... It was 2 am in real life, i was just getting to the army warehouses (im spanish sorry for bad english) and i saw him, in a barrel engulfed in blames, i didnt realize it was him, until i looted him, once i saw it was him, i went in shock, before going to spotify and putting the Pisca version of this song, outside my house was raining so i decided to look out the window for a moment, thats when it hit me, wolf was like any other stalker, and died like any other. He was a good stalker, helping the rookies, and i started crying, as i have friends that are currently in an armed conflict, trying to help others, until they make a bad step and die, just like wolf. I have lost many friends to war, and seeing a game depicting a conflict like this, it was enough to make me cry, for Knov, for adams, for lisan, you were all good stalkers, see you in the afterlife.
Peace be with you

Алексей Навальный Rest in peace, his only crime, speaking out.
He was a good STALKER
What’s so great and sad about this song is that you can just go to campfire with other loners and one of them can pull out a guitar and you can tell that he has just lost a friend.
Thing song was one thing when I was 16. Being 25 now and having said goodbye to so many
I was playing as a member of Duty earlier in *Anomaly*. I had a companion named Baichenko, or something similar. We traveled the Zone together, fighting side by side. Then one day, at 4 AM in-game time, we met another Duty member. The three of us set out on a mission to eliminate a bandit in the Army Warehouses. We came under heavy fire but managed to take down our target. As I grabbed the loot, I noticed that my new companion was no longer with us. He had fallen in battle. Rest in peace, stalker. It hadn’t even been a day, and I already failed to remember your name.

Rest In Peace, Volodymyr Yezhov.
Knew a friend from Poland. Went off the fight in the Ukraine foreign legion. Maybe 21. Played STALKER with me, we had our own saves and had a bit of a rivalry to see who could come up with the best shit. Hell of a guitar player. I missed him today.
Be honest with me, you piss in my fuckin beer man?
You're a terrible person for copywrite striking Dahomey and making him quit.

The Zone, you heard stories about it growing up. A place with no rules, no laws, no parents. In your 20's you left home and went to the zone to rebel against society. Months and years went by for everyone else, but not you. Everyday was the same yet so different, life in the zone was hard. You fought just to see the next day, everyday. But you eventually left. Every Stalker does, they leave the zone either by the zone taking them or them leaving the zone themselves. Its been decades since you left the zone, you haven't told anyone about your time there in fear they would think your still a Scavenger, a Trespasser, an Adventurer, a Loner, a Killer, an Explorer, a Robber. A Stalker. But that was a lifetime ago. But even in your old age, you remember everything. Your friends, your comrades, the mutants, the constant firefights with bandits. You remember the campfires and guitar songs that you even learned to play. Stalkers might leave the Zone, but the Zone will always call them back. So, Stalker. Lets have a drink and smoke for the ones that never left the zone. Those are the real stalkers. I miss you Cicero, you were a good Stalker.
i find this song very beautiful
One of the Loners was playing this during my playthrough but some bandits showed up and we’ve fought hard but he was a one casualties from the raid :(
Escucha desde el cielo, querido camarada ❤️🩹
One of the best levels to just ignore the scoring system and be a maniac. I still feel like if Absolution didn't have the scoring it would've been much better received, because scoring implies avoiding/wiping tracks, while Absolution encourages you to *create* and *not* wipe said tracks.
де смерть, там є життя, we are all stalkers who lost something
Is there copyright on this music? I'm using it in a biopic for a school project and i'd like to upload it when it's done
