Soooo, this movie is meant for kids whose parents have divorce problems. The producers should at least tell in advance that not all kids in their young mind and age could process this. A kid with a happy family might have anxieties and worries about his/ her parents ( even if they arguing with something small) after watching this movie. 😢

My mother and father got divorced when I was 11. And I can say without fear of contradiction that this movie sugar-coats this message so thoroughly, people should go into diabetic shock watching it. Divorce is terrible. It's something to be AVOIDED. But then, with women using divorce as a payout plan after they get BORED with their spouse, it's not hard to see how this movie would reinforce this as an option.

As agreeable a point it is that this is only up to inaki and the "luffy wouldnt..." comments are red herrings, I do think the argument you present for supporting inaki is very one sided. First, every bit of content made has inherent political ties (I can debate this as long as I want to). It just so happens that overt support for mcdonalds is tied to making a statement on or being complicit with the genocide in Palestine. Not that I think inaki is part of the former but what Twitter is arguing is about the latter. Getting divorced is the parents decision. What the child needs help with is dealing the aftermath and understanding that it's not their fault and they're still loved. By placing divorce at the end as the final solution, "Spellbound" is saddling kids with trying to make a call that isn't theirs to make. This does *far* more harm than good. The focus of a divorce movie should always be set _after_ the divorce itself.

As a southeast asian... I liked that ad and never understood the issue with Inaki there. It had nothing to do with One Piece besides Inaki playing Luffy. I looked at the comments and the arguments are easily shut down because anime collabing with products like mcdonalds is nothing new... So what really is the issue here, no? Some people are just so unreasonable and there's no cure for most of it.
