Today marks a year since we lost the most beautiful boy that roamed the Sands rest in peace my big boy the king Miss Dark Mane so much 😔

How it's happen

Great video but what is crucially missing in this video that The Roaring King of the North, S8 Imbali was known for knowing how to consistently spend time with his family as well as independently patrol to protect them and pictures of him with his family are missing. So where are day now? First and foremost lets not forget that about oct 23 2023, 2 weeks before the 6 nov 2023 when the healthy King of the North S8 Imbali was found suddenly ill, after visiting his core territory Gabby’s open area and camp at Mayneleti, and clearly dying rapidly in two days from symptoms that consistently resemble poisoning (and none that resemble bTB - yes chronic or rapid bTB will still have the same not different symptoms) that killed the first two healthy Talamati Breakaways lionesses in exactly the same way and timing; the sole remaining adult lioness from this pride, Selatina T-Breakaways was snared, traveled from Mayneleti to Chitwa Chitwa where they removed the snare, took a self complimentary picture “how good it feels to help lions,” and knowing that she is a sole remaining adult provider for five 1.8 months old adolescents (not sub-adults) who were regularly subsequently sighted on WE, for 3 weeks now (Oct 27 and Oct 28) huddled skinny and hungry and eating sticks and again at least two kidz sighted on WE on Thursday Nov 9th, and waiting for mom to find them but Chitwa Chitwa did not bother to make a smidgen of meaningful common sense effort to coordinate with adjacent properties guides, rangers, owners(nor vice versa) to release the lioness near her kidz to prevent the extinction of the pride, (or keep kidz cordoned off safely with some sustenance to keep them in place till mom finds them so they don’t keep missing each other); especially since mom’s separation from the 1.8 years old adolescents was due to human causes. Instead they all feigned ignorance while getting views because drama, especially a poignant and heart wrenching gets views. This Talamati breakaways lioness (who before this was never seen without her cubs even when hunting) has since for now 3 weeks then been filmed looking for and contact calling for her cubs, before and after s8’s death (on Oct 27/28, November 5 and Nov 9th), but they keep missing each-other while guides on all properties are expecting you to believe that separations like these are natural. Lioness who leaves cubs to hunt knows where she left them and does so for short period of time so even if cubs move (which they won’t unless due to necessity) she can sniff them out-But this lioness was snared and in pain and separated for long time and her and especially kidz are selective to engage in contact calling as not to attract other predators so they keep missing each other. Guides and rangers and park officials and owners throughout this time are watching this (choosing to give misleading but effective rumor briefs of potential sightings of all the pride together that keeps somehow separating - although the lioness and five kidz have zero record before snaring on October 23 in the past of not being together or in a separate group of 2:3 or 3:3 for very brief hunting time (one or two days the most) but always very near eachother) and consevationist we trust could have corrected the initial error of not releasing the lioness by cordoning off the kids and providing them with some sustenance until the mother returns to the area (but that requires some effort and money and men power and time and patience but most of all to care but care is expensive in time and effort- it is cheaper to feign ignorance and gaslight ( because they don’t want it to be seen that they don’t care and are incompetent and have zero intent to intervene even when human caused) and gaslighting works well with trusting public who can’t stand to hear and feel uncomfortable awakening of what is really going on. Saturday November 11 2023: More lies and impression management reported on instagram and spread by the lion lovers on twitter to gaslight the public that the 5 Talamati breakaways old older are ok sharing an impala kill with their Imbali cousins on Buffelshoek/Manyaleti firebreak yesterday afternoon Nov 11 2023 but the brief video show’s to me repeating successive still (not continuous) images of skinny mother and skinny youngster or two - which looks more like a disparate composite of separate images taken at different times in the past than an authentic real time video of the unification of the lone lioness with all five cubs that they are impression managing to give as good news and hide a fact that this preventable tragic 3 week separation if mom and cubs came to a good end. I anticipate that if it turns out in near future that it is obvious that some or all cubs are missing and presumed dead, they will use this misinformation to say that the youngster’s permanent disappearance did not happen when and because they chose not to make responsible efforts to reunite mom with kidz after snaring and get views of the ordeal but that leo mom and kidz were reunited after the snaring but now they keep separating and with absence of S8 marking and roaring it is a natural thing that something happened to them not because of irresponsible, careless, and incompetent management of protected areas. 💯 percent of the members of this pride nearly destroyed 💯 percent because conservationists placed in responsible positions to manage and advocate intentionally lazy to do so and accustomed and proficient to use denial and very effective gaslighting to hide shameful negligence. I very much question the sightings on nov 4 at elephants plains of s8 with all 6 members of the pride. I think elephants plains made a mistake that all 5 members were there on that day. Maybe s8, the adult lioness, and one female adolescent were seen together on that day and on Nov 5 something happened to separate even these 3 since the lioness was seen without s8 and female cub, s8 was seen next day poisoned and dying, and the 5th female cub was not seen since oct 27/28 on WE while only two cubs are seen on WE Nov 9 AM drive while mom looking for them seen on WE Nov 9 PM drive in opposite direction with Cedric saying in PM drive that all 5 cubs are north of mom eating an Impala. Instagram fake video says they are eating impala with Imbali cousins on Friday evening Nov 10 th ( that must have been a huge impala to last two days but not big enough to make any of kidz in fake video with full belly.
