I don’t think that they mean to, I just think it’s very hard to photograph them and this video gives me a much better reference. Thank you so much for making it. Not only did I get to see the difference, but you actually use the exact same pen that I use. I love the Sarasa Grand so this was a very interesting immersive experience for me. I think I’m going to deviate from the pebble this time!

The black cover is stunning. Got myslef a Moterm black veg. leather but I wish I saw this video sooner. Is the Hobonichi Leather Taut (Brown) A5 from the current lineup the same leather as yours black from the video?

Love these pens and the way the ink flows but drys quick. The tones of colour are great as almost a black or “adult” writing colour not a highlight bright colour. I need a few more to check which one is my favourite. Current tests grey black and claret

Great video! Ty! You may have answered this but could i use a nano .3 refil in a .5 clip body? I bought the vintage clips (one of the 2 set) and i really like them however i prefer a finer tip.

Ok I am three videos in and now a new subscriber. When I saw your SX-70 thumbnail I was sold and now subscribed! What a BEAUTY! I have an sx-70 back in 2017 from The Impossible Project and took it to Cuba to work on an art project. I LOVE IT. I had no idea that it could be modified to take 600 film. Is this a permanent mod? Can your camera still take sx-70 fil?. I will do my Googles for sure. I did get some vintage flash bars from Brooklyn Camera Film. And now you make want to do a show and tell of my polaroid cameras and accessories. I also need this case. SO COOL! Your photos are gorgeous and dreamy. THANKS for sharing!

LOVE THIS. And yes 2020's pen being red is WILD I honestly didn't feel attached to my Hobonichi pens until this year and after the whole website shutdown that happened on Hobonichi Day. I realized that I am very attached to the Hobonichi brand and look forward to Hobonichi Day every year. I have 3 pens with 2 missing (2019 broke and 2020 was not included in my order despite buying a Weeks and 5-Year Techo that year). I recently found the two missing ones from someone in the FB Hobonichi Buy/Sell/Trade. They should arrive this week along with my Hobonichi 2025 order. YAY! Iove 2023 but 2019 and 2024 matched my weeks surprisingly well. Thanks for sharing your collection.

I just had to replace two of the pens from 2019 (broke) and 2020 (didn't receive in my order for some reason). I am so grateful to the planner community for holding on to things like this for folks like me to buy.

Inasmuch as the MINT flash unit only offers 1/2 and full levels, use the 1/2 power and set the light-dark adjustment dial a little bit to darken.

Thank you so much for this video. This was the most comprehensive, fact-based and unbiased history of the Greenwood I've seen. The Greenwood is one of the first decks I really bonded with back in the 90s and it's still one of my favorites. I have the original deck and can't imagine parting with it.

I came back to this video for the third time lol because I am genuinely so thrilled by the Hobonichi's new Sanzen paper. I have always loved the Cousin's layout and I am so glad this change happened because-having now used the Cousin for 6 months this year-I feel as though I am 100% dedicated to using the Hobonichi Cousin going forward. The paper is so nice now that it works with my pens and layout is perfect. I even ditched my TN Standard Weekly + Memo for the new April start Hobonichi Weeks which finally also have the Tomoe River S Paper. Thank you again for doing this test based on my comment, it totally changed my entire planning system for the better!

I agree, the bright yellow 2016 is the best looking. The 2023 pen is the only I own but it gets used very rarely. The .5 tip is a little to sharp if you don't have a solid surface to use it on, I have ripped several notebook pages with this pen but that might just be user error. Anybody else feel like the clip is constantly going to snap?

I love this deck so much! The artwork has so much Energy and Power. I have a copy of the deck but not the original. I use the PDF version of the booklet, but would love a printed version. Do you have a copy of the Celtic Shaman's pack with art by Cesca and book by John Mathews? It would be really interesting if you would do a side by side with the Wildwood.

I love these pens too. My favorite color is Camel Yellow, and I spent weeks trying to find the closest match I could in fountain pen ink.
