Says Who Sports
Приєднався 29 лют 2024
Welcome to Says Who Sports, where the game is about cutting through the media noise and contrived controversy to deliver authentic, smart, and candid analysis of college and professional sports.
Says Who Sports is a podcast hosted by John Dauphin, who has interviewed and written about legends like Bob Knight, Bobby Bowden, Roy Williams, and Roger Clemens.
He believes sports media has become a mess of recycled narratives presented as so-called “stories,” often lacking context or truth. The rush by reporters to be first to the digital finish line in a desperate search for clicks has left a huge void in meaningful sports coverage.
Dauphin believes fans deserve better.
He and his co-host, Phil Dauphin, a former professional baseball player who had a game-winning hit for the Chicago Cubs, offer fresh perspective and unique insight on the stories that matter.

Great range of topics!
Has to be one of the nicest people in the music industry.
Warren is the best living musician today. He's a very humble and kind soul. Great interview. One of the best I've heard Warren do. Thank you.
And thank you for listening/watching! Warren has indeed made a special mark on music.
Warren nails it, Mule much more in the style of Cream and The Experience with the improv involved by each player.
Amen!
Fantastic interview man, great questions. Definitely one of the best I've heard with Warren! Thank you
Much thanks, Frank...appreciate you taking the time to watch and share the special Warren Haynes vibe
however much he is getting paid is not enough.
The Nephew of the player Coach Goodwin mentioned who passed in the car accident is on his current team now.
Kansas Jayhawks!!!!!!!! Salute
She sounds horrible calling a game
Classes with Lenny in the bus garage. Priceless.
Aj is special
Very
Aj!!!! 🙌🏾
Oh my goodness. This Arkansas girl nearly hurt Dickey Betts in a crowded grocery store in Sarasota.I got shoved into Betts and he almost fell into the 2% milk.
Thanks for keeping your Arkansas accent! WPS!
All of OU loves Patty. She's the best coach in the NCAA and an awesome witness for Christianity. Just a wonderful person.❤
From the same generation, and I can relate to the transistor radio. It was the Baltimore Orioles for me!
Nice interview, but is this guy reading off a teleprompter? Almost sounds like a computer talking.
“There’s Only One” ………………… ……. Patty Gasso☝
🐐
Natty Patty 4-Peat and playing home games at "LOVE's FIELD" 2024 was AWESOME to watch at "Love's Field. Bring on 2025 Natty Patty Softball.
Definitely, Mike Hargrove is the #1
PATTY!!
It’s a wonder she could be interviewed that long I figured she would be out in California getting more players
Such an amazing woman! OU is blessed to have Patty as a coach.
Oklahoma has a softball team? I've never heard of them are they any good?😂
YOURE JOKING RIGHT?????😅THE BEST IN THE GAME❤❤BOOMER SOONER❤❤❤
@@DebCooper-h2q really I didn't even know Oklahoma had a softball team did they win any games? 😁
@jdwilmoth 4 wcsc championships in a row..first time in the history of softball under coach patty Gasso.... under the tutoledge of patty OU has won 1500 games !!! Softball college is the biggest and best sport to watch in the last 15 years.... you can tell that I am a fan..I played softball in college and played up until i was 51 years old in summer softball.. You should watch ncaa softball on espn+ OU has first year 2025 in the SEC..leaving the big 12!! You might enjoy watching softball of any college team..I hope you do!! This next season....haveca great day!!
@@DebCooper-h2q so I guess that means they've won a game or two 😁
@jdwilmoth lol more than a game or two that's for sure!!
How long will it take for love field to become Gasso family field?
Not going to happen
Allready IS!! as far as I'm concerned!!
Excellent interview, Patty is an inspiration. Prior to discovering OU softball a few years ago, I had no idea that the sport was as fun and entertaining to follow as it is. Now, as a hard-core fan, OU softball ranks comfortably alongside Uconn women's basketball as my top teams to follow in any sport.
Great interview. Love the freedom to share Jesus. God is definitely welcome at OSU softball
What a wonderful testimony of how God gives peace in our lives and how it impacts lives in a positive way and in general including sports
Natty Patty❤
SOONER!
Boomer!
SOONERRRRRRR......!!!!
Amazing human, our Patty. Boomer!!
The ‘90s Tribe was the most exciting time in Cleveland sports imo. Grover is the Man!

One of the greatest riders ever..l was in Maryland when he dominated racing there..he won almost 600 races in a season..record still stands
Great Jockey! I feel old as i always remember betting on him as it seemed like he kept his bug forever!
Great player, smart, AND beautiful!!!!
I could listen to this guy forever. Salute Kent!I think you focused on his addiction way to long. His energy was telling us all, he'd had enough of that subject.
Remember him riding in Maryland......King T Leatherbury and Kent were money !
I was privileged to listen to Larry Colmus' call of the races at Suffolk Downs in its swan song days when Cigar won the Massachusetts Handicap two years in a row. Mike Welsch was working at the track back then and now he's seen yearly giving his reports on the Derby's and Oak's workouts. Unfortunately like many other tracks, Suffolk Downs is now gone. It is interesting to learn about Larry's background and where he's been since way back then. I always marvel at how race callers can learn all those difficult names, associate them with the silks and blurt them out rapid fire. Then forget them all again before the next race. It could be worse. In Australia they say the names of all of the horses from first to last as they cross the finish line. Another difference is that they refer to the horses in gender neutral terms.
You should call pat day and talk to him, horsetalk
Go to turfway or Gulfstream park, youre awesome
Awesome jockey, him pat day, tyler galfalone, brent bartman, charles woods
Any dark spirits / demons in or around Kent must leave now in Jesus’s name. He is an amazing jokey. One of my favorites. Do what you do best, we love you and I hope you love yourself and are surrounded by those that appreciate you.
As, a Louisiana native, I am proud of this guy, and all other highly ranked jocks from Louisiana.Unfortunately, many of them were very good at winning races early as young kids and young adults. This meant higher incomes before they could mature as adults. High early succuss meant surplus dollars to buy what you want. Thus booze and drugs and any foods they want they can get when they want. Kent and several had run in with the law and there close love ones. Let's not over think this. This can be a issue for other type of athletes in other sports, in entertainment and business. The greatness of jockeys compared to what normal people do and see in realtime. Thanks for this podcast. 36:14
Good interview, but what is the other gentleman's job? He doesn't ask hardly any questions, why is he there?
