Mid sole splits along the middle rear trough. Outer sole is super thin and rips apart from the lugs. I got 100km out of mine and now they look more beat up than shoes ive still got from 2016. Wouldn't touch them again.

Great review, congratulations, I have a question, I have the peregrine's 10 and 12, with the peregrine 10's my foot adjusted very well asking for the size that I always wear for shoes, but in the case of the peregrine 12 they are tighter and have toe protection harder than peeregrine 10. Does this also happen with peregrine 13? that is, should I order half a size more than what I normally wear?

I loved my 12's but saucony had to warranty them because the outsole fell apart. I can't believe they kept the split outsole on the heel. I doubt these will last like the 12s

These are brilliant headtorches, the light produced is a bright white light and very comfortable to wear, the only downside is where the wires go into the battery compartment, the outside of the cable gets brittle after a while and cracks, as seen here at 55 seconds into this video. this puts tension where the wires connect to the circuit board inside the battery compartment. Fortunately i was able to resolder the wires back on, it's only a temporary solution as the whole cable needs replacing really.

Great video! You looked like you were really enjoying yourself out there! Have these just launched in Aus? They were out last year here in the UK and Europe but I think there were issues with the PWRRUNpb midsole not curing properly and people were returning them as they’d experienced the foam being squeezed out of the mesh that wraps around it (this is on forums etc, nothing official from Saucony) but you can’t find them anywhere for sale. This colourway looks like the kinvara 13 & peregrine 12 colourway so it makes me wonder if they’ve fixed the quality issues with the midsole.

Does it have the same chunky insole as the peregrine? Thought that was slightly overkill.

I have the 8s, 10s (2 pairs), and the 11s. The 10s are amazing, that’s why I have 2 pairs. I’ve had the 12s on multiple times. I’m not a fan. It looks like they put lugs on the Kinvara and called it the Peregrine 12. I know weight is important but it’s not the only thing vital to a trail shoe. Road shoes and trail shoes are different and I’m ok with that. I don’t want my trail shoes to feel like road shoes and I don’t want road shoes to feel like trail shoes. The Peregrine 12 is a miss for me. I guess that’s why they made the 11 a little more narrow than the 10, so the lighter more narrow 12 was not as a dramatic change.
