Asi sonarian los beatles 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Entonces que bueno que se serparsron .
si definitivamente
This is like when “ be bop a Lula” came out and Elvis’s mother congratulated him on his new hit song.
Great Job.!
Thank you so much
Excellent perception...very interesting and entertaining.
Thanks you so much
An underground punk band from New Jersey called Stetz did a great cover of this
This tune went to number 1 in a New York Minute! People thought that it was the Beatles. Sounded just like them.
Now a whole new generation are going to believe that the Beatles did do the song!!!
One of the interesting things about this video is it's typical of a Beatles performance to have many quick camera cuts, so blends right in with that production style.
altough in 60's, music program on television usualy had the poor editing and camera works. cutting point or shot pacing doesn't match with the music beat. so what'd you say this video has the same with 60's style that I mentioned? :D
@@donletmedon what I am saying is that style of quick cuts works to your advantage and helps hide the fact that it's not the correct song. You have done well here!
so sad but happens all the time
Why did I always think this was a Beatles tune!!!
So do I
Hahaha that was awesome. Well done.
thank you so much
Very clever!
Thank you so much
The only time it DOESN'T sound like John singing is at the 'yeah, baby'. Other than that, without knowing, you would think it was a Beatles song. The guitar work was more like The Who in their mod stage but again, this was a brilliant'tribute'. The editing was great as well.
Thank you so much. Agree... in musicaly this song is more close to The Who, The Creations, The Birds (UK not US Byrds), The Kinks or any bands or musicians that has kind of guitar works style. But in vocally is so beatlesque, John L on lead, Paul & George on backing, that's why in editing I put Paul shot singing 'yeah baby' not John, because the voice has Paul's vocal tone.
One of the best fakes I've ever seen/heard! When this song was first released, I wondered if it was the Beatles or not (always loved it). The fact that the lead vocalist for the Knickerbockers sounds "dead-on" like Lennon adds to the believability of this wonderful ruse... great work (someone was bound to do this sooner or later, so I'm glad it was you)!
Thank you so much. I'm so happy to know that we have similarity fantasies bout this Beatles' fake😄
FAB!👌
Thank you so much
あー、みんなそう思ってるけど、やっちまったなー!

Outstanding!
Thank you so much
very clever! 😎😎😎😎
Thank you so much🙏
I have never heard thus song . I like it . The Beatles were the Best .
Thank you. Yes, in my opinion Beatles still the best band in the world🥰, but in this video, the Beatles just only 'miming' the Alusions' song 😄
The question is: Who wrote this song ?
The Nickerbockers wrote it.
When I first heard this song years ago when I was a kid I thought it was The Beatles. In fact I asked my mother and she said, "No. It's not The Beatles." And I said, "Are you sure ? Because it sounds just like them. Imagine this was a Beatles song. It would've been great and I'm sure it would've reached number 1 in The U.K. and The U.S.
Great lipsinking. I bought a vynyl album by the Fabulous Knickerbockers way back. One Track Mind is also good but Lies is my favourite.
Thank you. We all know, they were the great band.
This also reminds me of the mid sixties when we tuned into the Caroline Pirate Radio station ship anchored off the Isle Of Man. We felt that musicians and their fans could change the world.
This one and Lies are great. Hope you will do more. Funny, when I first heard Lies on the radio, I thought it was the Beatles.
Thank you so much for your spirit. I need more time to find the songs that has beatles soundalike and more beatles footages that maybe would match with the songs.
Holy cow! I only realized recently that the Beatles DIDN'T sing this song. All these years I had no doubt it was one of theirs. Nobody sounds like John. But that guy did. Well done.
absolutely! it's Buddy Randell's voice that manipulates us :D
KNICKERBOCKERS
Good job man!
Thank you so much
There were a lot of groups in the 50's and 60's that sounded like other groups and singers. Van Morrison group Them, sounded like the Rolling Stones. Songs like Baby Please Dont Go and Here Comes The Night.
yup. but just a vew that so identical uncany like Buddy Randell with John Lennon vocals.
@donletmedon One more vote here for your excellent 👍🏽 production, fantastic job👏🏽
Thank you so much. glad you enjoyed the fun😍
Now 2023 ...
tomorrow 2024
Great!
thank you
Now do "One Track Mind".... (pretty please)!
I did, but not finished yet. because really hard to find the footages that I could match & sync with that song. thank you for reminding me to finish that song ☺
@@donletmedon I appreciate the hard work, no pressure...
That American band even used a Liverpool accent in this. Listen to the pronunciation of "girl."
scouse accent from jersey boy... isn't it great?🤩
Such creative, thoughtful editing. Congratulations. Very fun to watch. You deserve far more views.
Thank you so much ☺
This made me laugh.. great editing.
Well done, lads. we
Thank you so much
GR8 job Some people actually thot the Beatles sang this tune with a cover name. CB
I was thought that too 😄 thank you so much.
@@donletmedon thank you for your effort in this undertaking. Had to have been hard to find the videos of them actually mouth in the words!!! CB
The eerie thing about it all was that the Allusions' lead singer, Mike Morris, bore a striking resemblance to Paul McCartney.
absolutely
Well done Sir!
thank you so much, Sir!
Great job editing all this ! It must have a really fun project.. You knocked it out of the park !
Yeaa it's really fun to create this... and so happy realized that many people really enjoyed the fun. Thank you so much.
Very good! The song is soooooooo Beatles 64-65.
Thank you so much. Yea that is so 1965 Beatles sound's like
@@donletmedon It's a great song, but actually not at Lennon-McCartney level. Especially with John, he'd categorize it as a "throwaway" song.
Pretty good!
thank you ☺
Did the Beatles write the song and give it to the Knickerbockers? Who wrote it?
I wish too... but actually nope. the song written by Beau Charles and Buddy Randell, that means The Knickerbockers' original song.
Nice editing!!
thank you so much
Hilarious! I've always regarded 'Lies' as the true birth of power pop-this song has it all.
Thankyou for your comment. We were all in when we recorded Lies & we’re truly thankful that you & others can hear that passion! Thanks again
“They sound more like us than we do…” John Lennon
I thought this song was by the Beatles when I heard it as a kid. I was a diehard Beatles fan, and after a while I realized they never really did a song quite like this. But it’s still a great, high-energy song. Having said that, this is just a fantastic video that makes it seem like maybe they did! This must have taken many hours to produce. Well done!
I was thought that too 😄 thank you so much!
'You think that you're such a smart world.... Lies!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣This is dedicated to the WEF...
Awesome. This was one of my favourite beatle songs. It was on the import for the 1962 to 1966 Beatles. Fantastic.
Thank you Mal. May you heavenly rest in peace😇
When I first heard "Lies" on the radio back in the day, I thought it was a new Beatles single. Quickly found out it was the American group The Knickerbockers.
