Get That Straight Line! Pelvic Positioning for Handstands
Mastering proper hip and pelvis positioning is key to achieving a well-aligned handstand. Many focus solely on tilting the pelvis into retroversion, but it’s just as important to engage the hip flexors and move them in the opposite direction. These drills will teach you to balance these movements for better alignment and improved energy efficiency in your handstand.
Remember to engage your chest compression and hold the position for 10-20 seconds, or try repetitions to build control. Once comfortable, apply this to your handstand for a lighter, more stable hold.

Thanks for the tips! Do you have any tips if walking into the wall feels impossible? In working on the holds but currently have all the weight on the balls of my hands because I can’t walk my hands in more. Or do I simply need to keep working on it until my shoulders can take the weight?

I cannot handstand... I have tried and failed so many times. Paul the wall.. got it... freestanding... I cannot! but I train and still can't
