Thank you both for the update. In Georgia I have been working with PCA to get a tax cap in our state. Along with the retailers that have signed on to the proposed legislation, Chris Harper of Perdomo has helped get the info to the retailers. Next Monday December 11, Chris and I will be at the vendor appreciation event at Acere Cigars and ask that other representatives join us in getting the Georgia retailers to sign up to get behind the legislation. The two Legislators that I have contacted have verbally given their support. J Collins District 71 and Dave Huddleston District 72. If all the retailers and Reps get our package to their representatives we will be ready for the Session that begins in January.

I work in politics here in Georgia and would like to join the advocacy team. I love cigars and had hopes of opening a cigar lounge/retail shop but the tax on premium cigars here is crazy! I want to help in any way I can.

My first Champaign was underwhelming but when i revised it a month later after settling in my humidor, it was amazing the first stick i guess was not acclimated properly. Still not my favorite Perdomo though my favorite is the 20th Anniversary Maduro. Really looking forward to the 30th anniversary

Okay so the Karl Malone Blend is a Dominican Leaf by La Aurora. Though I have not smoked a KM, I have smoked various La Aurora Sticks and can attest to their smooth draw, beautiful even burn and a pleasant mild to medium flavor that satisfies. I recently saw a box of KM's priced at roughly $247 USD. That's up there for my pocket but I bet the smoke is Top Notch.

The PCA is in a tough spot but are doing a good job trying to adapt to what seems like a "New World Order" that is hostile to tobacco. Even premium tobacco.

Alcohol kills far more people and is used more than tobacco...in fact alcohol causes more avoidable death each year than tobacco and the so called opiod epidemic..This isn't a tax for health reasons..it is a tax based on someone else's morals

Thanks for keeping pipe tobacco mentioned. This tax would decimate that industry. I and so many others wouldn't be able to buy in bulk anymore.
