The underside of the spoiler is unpainted, the trunk hinges have areas of no paint, the trunk lid bolts are unpainted when they should be body color and the deck lid should have been painted while on the car. The 396 emblems aren't centered in the stripe, and it has the wrong ashtray in it. A beautiful car nonetheless, but the painter should have been more particular. My car has the same crack in the dash pad and it will remain there. It looks and fits better than any Chinese pad would. Put power steering on it. I did to mine, and I love it.

This car was released for $80,000 and was one of the first models of the Toyota Lexus brand. Toyota takes great care in building its cars, so even after 20 years, there is no leakage from the roof. (The roof joints and trunk motor are also sturdy.) The interior is the only thing that can be avoided from deteriorating over time, but if you replace the leather on the seats, it is as good as new and is still a great car.

I have recently bought the same car with an immaculate exterior condition (a few minor interior imperfections) that has 118 000 kms on it. They hold up well if garaged & serviced properly. Only paid $11K AUS. Not much money for a lot of car. IMHO they need a stiffer rear sway bar to dial out the understeer and high quality performance tyres to make the most of the grip. Also an exhaust modification (to taste) to hear more of the VR6 engine note.

VERY nice Camaro, amazing to see the smog pump, etc. intact, that was the 1st thing that was trashed back in the day. 2 inches of play either the steering box or idler arm. Nice restoration BTW, yeah thats too bad when they just sit forever, they were meant to be driven and for that one probably not beat on as its all original

Wow! that is one fine, unmolested example of a TT. I upgraded from a blue 2008 VW R32 (VR6) to my current white 2010 TTS (2L, 4 cyl., Turbo) in Dec 2015. I fell in love with the VR6's exhaust note in that R32. It was music to my ears. While I don't regret going with the much better looking TTS, with it's much more fuel efficient engine setup, I do miss the Wookie growl of that VR6--which sounds even better in the R32 than the TT--even though they were essentially the same engine. Whoever has the winning bid is going to get one helluva great car! Both my R32 and my TTS were very reliable cars--as long as I didn't bring it to the VW dealership in my small city. Good luck!

That driver side quarter panel isn't quite right. The wheel opening is crooked along with the character line which runs over the top of it, and the wheel opening is too far forward, giving the appearance that the axle has shifted back! I'd do a new quarter and paint it back to its original hue.

With all due respect, you need a "Sock" for your mic. It's not that expensive, considering if you want to be heard or not if you have wind.

Rear bumperettes are in wrong place.

I turned down a 396 becaue it wasn't American Made. This was built in Canada.

Also sounds like it has an exhaust leak somewhere?

Appears to sit higher than stock in the rear?
