They ruined my sl1200s. Had to take it to a tech to have the tone arms rewired and replace the pc board that the rca’s go to since they burnt the copper leads. Same thing happened to 3 other djs I know.

Thanks for creating channel. . I want to ouch music to be put on more plastic once more for those unforgettable tracks we make. The other junk can stay on cd and digital. . Vinyl is one of those things where we think carefully if we want a certain track on vinyl. Has to be more than just a good track.. heart has to go into it as well as effort. .

I see all the comments about mutilating the turntables,but in fact just like everything else in Hip Hop,the turntables were personalized as well,even way back in the day,before it was commercialised. Hip Hop is about expression,and the DJ uses his/her to to do that,so it's no different than buying a brand new vehicle and straight to the custom shop to modify. Some of the stuff is unnecessary,but hey it's their equipment.

They should have pulled this shit with a pair of Technics 1200 MK3D (aka the worst edition of the technics 1200 turntable lineup). Not these MK5G GEMS. They ruined a pair of very limited production turntables that keep growing in value over the years. Example; look at the Technics 1200 MK4 turntable. It’s so rare that most people don’t even know that it existed. It was actually the only 1200 that has all 3 USA rpm settings 33,45,&78 rpm buttons. I remember when that came out and now it’s selling for 2500-3000 USD online used. Which takes me back to my original point and question. Why would you alter one of the rarest and most desired instruments in the music production world. Like I said. Y’all should have used those mk3d pieces for junk. Not mk2 or mk5gs. That’s just crazy shit.
