@@kapturzak What are you working on now? I've got a black 93 318is with an M42 in it, I'm cutting the original plugged-up cat out now & replacing it with some pipe. Hopefully it will get a few more horses back! I've got an M30B35 E30 too that I'm about halfway through turbocharging. I need to buy a welder that can do aluminum so I can build the intake piping. I'm going with a GT3582 clone, so it should spool quickly & pull hard.

Bo taki typ kolektora daje najwieksza moc w jednym zakresie obrotow. 6-2 bardziej rozklada moc po obrotach co jest lepsze w codziennym uzytkowaniu.

Hi, I dont sell them. I did one to check the sound and response.

I think it's better because the primery pipes are much longer than stock or any aftermarket header.

headers are stock. only one of the two secondary pipes is longer by about 40cm. Like an UEL in a Subaru Impreza. Only this one is a 6 cylinder.

Very hard because in e36 there is little room between the strut tower and engine head. It took me about 4 weeks to make it right. I started with a plan to make the primery pipes welded to two flanges as the oem headers but then it was obvious that only one flange per one primery pipe can be made to fit it without removing the engine.

Czuc i hamownia to potwierdzila nawet bez strojenia. Po strojeniu bylo by o wiele lepiej bo bylo czuc ze jak go bardziej podlewa (na zimnym) to lepiej idzie.

@@kapturzak a na Kolektorze typu UEL, bardzo pogarsza czy nie zauważalna różnica? Bo bardzo podoba mi się takie chrapanie r6, ale jednocześnie walczę o jak najlepsze przepływy spalin żeby coś zyskać

@@Francesso6 Najważniejsze żeby długości rur kolektora były jak najwieksze. Jak zrobisz długie ale nierówne (UEL) to bedzie bardziej rozłożony moment obrotowy po obrotach.

@@kapturzak zdecydowałem się i jestem na etapie budowania kolektora 6-1. W 80% jest już zrobiony. Czy możesz zdradzić jakiej długości masz rury ? U mnie wychodzi od glowicy do punktu zbiorczego średnio 80cm. Czy to nie zbyt dużo? Bo boję się, że moment przeniesie się na tyle wysoko, że silnik nie da rady się do tylu zakręcić..

@@kapturzak dla porównania kolektor barany schmiedmanna, najdłuższy wydech, czyli pierwszy ma około 70cm, ale są z rur 42mm. Ja mam ~80cm ale z rury 40mm, czyli długość rekompensuje ciaśniejszy, czyli szybszy przepływ. Z kolei schmiedmann idzie 6>2 a to przenosi podobno moment w niże partie niżeli 6>1

As far as I know all old beamers have uel headers

@@raiinydayz1889 nope, the m20 engine has two mirror like cast iron exhaust manifolds with cyl. 3 and 4 being the shortest and 1 and six 6 longest. But what is unequal in this setup is the length of the secondary tubes after the manifold. One is about 0,5m longer. Then they merge in to a single 2" pipe.
