    I am disappointed by the wage rate you are earning though. I work in IT, and I am retiring to Philippines this year at 58. Down the road, if I have to work again, I am hoping I would be able to find an IT job again after I turn 60. Thanks for the video though.

    I will not take steroids (prednisone) again unless absolutely necessary. 40mg per day orally for about 6 months. I was a mess. None of the other meds worked. The sulfa-like drugs made me sicker. This was in 1997, the year before Remicaid came out. My GI doc wanted me to try mercaptopurine (a cancer medication) for another 6 months. I told him no, to take the damn thing out. My surgery went well except for a blood clot in my leg a couple of weeks later. My temporary ileostomy leaked all the time. I had severe depression coming off the prednisone. But they were able to take down the ostomy about 6 weeks after the colectomy. 27 years later, and everything is still working for the most part. I think I still have residual effects from the prednisone. I didn't have much bleeding because the damage in my colon was higher up than yours, and it was in deeper layers of tissue than usual, too. I also have to sometimes lie on my side to pass gas. I usually am up at least three or four times a night to go number two. Eating simple carbs helps. I am also on a gluten free diet. I haven't had pouchitis in a long time. Yes, no watermelon late in the day if you don't want to be up all night! I have the same problem with most fresh vegetables. Sorry if this is TMI. Thank you so much for sharing.

    I lived in Ormoc City for 6 years(2018-2024) II had watched your channel at its somewhat initial start. The room/apt you rented prior to your home purchhase. I tried to meet with you but you never responded. That is very much understanable. I also married a local (2018) and we are still together. I had no longer subscribed to your channel until I experience a sitution you had discussed in detail on one of your video's. It helped me immensely. What happens if your bank in the USA will no longer provde service because your mailing address is not vaiid? My bank notified me that they will close my account in 30 days, unless evidence is provided of a valid USA address. I had to scramble and have my funds in those accouts redisbruted to accounts overseas. I also had to have my social security monthly depposit changed to a foreign bank. I did a UA-cam search related to this subject and your channel was one of the few that discussed this matter in detail. Your channel and one other was very instrumental in my abilities to have my funds deposited to a foreign bank. This sitution had just recently occured so I am still waiting to see if this matter is resolved. I did not receive my June deposited which was expected and I will not be surprised but still disappointed if July brings no results. The entire package was sent more than 15 days ago so if my documentation is lacking I would assume I would have been contacted,. I am fortunate I can go 6 months plus without a deposit but that is not acceptable. I want to thank you for your ability to share a difficult situation. I was shocked to learn of your future plans. It is commendable that you want to keep your wife happy. However sometimes saying no can also provide future benefits. Leaving your wife and child no matter the shortness of time tells me your expenditures has out paced your intended desires. Moving to the USA with your family may be beneficial however as I am sure you know there are lots to be desired in the USA. Keeping her happy should only require you and your son presence. You are a planner like myself but I have learned there are situations/ things you can't plan for. Maybe you are a millionare, I dont know nor do I Need to know. You spent a great deal of monies to purchase and refurbish your home. Are you going to build a home in America in order to keep your wife happy. You my friend are exposing yourself to undue hardship. If you die prior to the 5 years what happens? If you die after 5 years she may remarry and your efforts is nullified. I can be totally wrong. I pray things go as you plan. But you need to ask yourself what true happiness really is. You do look emotionally spent. I do wish you wwell and thanks again for sharing. You are definitely a good person. I just hope you are not being taken advantage of . Respectfully

    • @michaelcarrington7336
      @michaelcarrington7336 5 місяців тому

      @@titojeffslife5874 Will you make trips back to Ormoc to visit during those five years? I was thinking that our social security rules was that upon your passing she gets monthly either what you have collected monthly or what she qualifies for from her own contributions whichever is greater. The 50 percent rule is for while you are still alive if the fifty percent is greater than what her own wage contributions entitle her to. I am no authority and could be incorrect but I would like to encourage you to speak with someone who is an authority on social security to find out such things as how long she must be married to you to qualify for what she can qualify for and make sure they know you and her have a child. Make sure that you know all that she is entitled to. My mother was married to my dad for eighteen years before divorcing. Many years after his death she was able to collect his social security and not just the fifty percent.
