i was just looking up information about other homestuck composers besides toby, and of course when i was looking up songs made by Jit the first one i found references the entire penumbra phantasm melody.

i love this story, and i took a very long break from it at eridans and feferis first conversation for some reason. im really in it now and learned you can never truly win the fight against homestuck.

The art for this track always really stuck out to me. This was the moment in reading the comic that I suddenly understood that what I was reading was more than just a story. The song captures the hope and sadness of the letter John reads in this moment, and all the complicated feelings he must be experiencing having woken up to find his sister and best friend's dream self dead in front of him. One Year Older was always my favourite album, and this track, and the art associated with it are a huge reason why.
