if I was gonna do one of: downpipes or FI exhaust. What would recommend first for a better sound. Ideally it should be both yes. Also any type or model of downpipes might work well for the F85 in your opinion? Thanks in advance!
I think if we did it again, best option would be downpipes and fi exhaust. But depends how loud you want it to be and if you would want to tune your car

What mileage does your car have? Have you replaced the injectors or bearings as a preventive service? Cause it is known that this engine fails before 50,000.. Such an awesome bc forged!
My engine was replaced 2 months after I got the car was covered under warranty. Bmw mis diagnosed it for a fuel pump issue. Bmw North America wanted to replace the motor, new injectors, everything is basically new. I’ve switched the oil from 0w-30 to 5w50 so more cushion the on the bearings while hard driving

the amount they have gone to now is crazy
use spark plugs that are 1 degree colder.. replace fuel injectors every 40,000 miles.. wrap down pipes with ceramics.. and check the turbo compressor seals
what oil to use?? some say that the one recommended by the BMW service is 5W30. which contributes to engine damage. Because it is suitable for driving up to 3,000 rpm... and to use it, replace it with 10W60
