Exploring 3D Scanning for Unreal Engine Nanite - Experimenting for some Procedural Workflow
We started experimenting with 3D Scanning & making Nanite Meshes. Wow, Nanite is a beast at rendering such detailed meshes. Our goal is to find some semi-procedural workflow when working with nanite meshes. (Like a Road system, scattering tool, etc)

Then perhaps your sprite resolution is just too small. You can also try setting it to point (no filter)

Are you able to get displacement maps from the 3d scans so that you can create a material that can be used as a landscape brush with nanite displacement?

Thanks! My mistake was that I had a material function inside my landscape material that was sampling from the RVT textures. It's a function that can be used in either the terrain or on rocks. But on terrain, sampling from RVT needs to be turned off unless you're using the VirtualTextureFeatureSwitch node.

Does this widget not work as of 5.4? When i seem to press "select" after choosing a layer and megascan texture, it doesn't change anything. Even after 'reloading' and also trying to clear and then doing it, but nothing sadly
