There are alot of ppl acting as if it's the end of the world and the end of MESBG. Ppl have been saying this shit since I started playing in 2010. I think it's healthy to have some caution Especially after such an amazing edition we are currently in. Excited to see what happens and to get my hand dirty with the new edition -Sean

Jay Clare and the specialist games team are brilliant. They have worked wonders on kill team, war cry, blood bowl ect. Jay's is also passionate about MESBG, we are in good hands -Sean

(Armies of Middle Earth will just be anything that wasn't directly in the films/books. So older time periods, different regions, etc.)

This actually just makes so much sense. So legacies will basically be profiles with no models. Looking at war drakes, signal tower ect. -Sean

I was more thinking about figurines that exist but that will no longer have profils, because not able to put them in any thematic list or that are not enough to make a competitive list with. Mainly GW creations like Golfimbul or isolated ones like Tom Bombadil and Barliman Butterbur.

funny I have the same story

I have also just started buyed the osgiliath starter set, All the battlehost, the two army Books, defender in the north and now i can use the same amount of money again on New rulebook, starter set and army Books. "Feelsweirdman" and I dont know how i feel about taking All speciel strikes away. It takes a lot of the combat learning scal away, but makes the model tactical varity away (it needed af rework, not a removel. imo)

There won't be big changes in the core ruels, so that should not be a bigger problem

Games gonna be basically the same as what you have been learning recently. Yeah it sucks that all the books are gonna be made redundant but that is how the cookie crumbles, this edition has been around for 6+ years. -Sean

@@MountainGoatGaming. I know the game has been out 6 years, the timing is just bad luck and because of No news, only 3 month before the 3 core book is useless. It is after all over 1200 danish crowns wasted on Books alone. I still dont know if i can take shields on My commanders sets now, because we Are waiting on New rules. Dont get me wrong i love that is it still active, i love updates, i just hate that you feel you Are wasring money on Books i have to bin, after 1 month on My shelf.

We have a video like this coming out in the next few weeks talking with Sean K about the hobbit LL. Sean is well versed in hobbit play, having played them for many years, even winning the Australian Games work MESBG championship with them at 1000pts. I've run it at 500 points, Theodred, Elfhelm, all Warriors Royal Guard with spears on foot. For 600 take Grimbold and a full warband of axe warriors.

Australian META so incredibly hard to talk about. It differs from state to state and each tournament, sometimes even each gaming group has a different 'Meta' the lists that show up are always changing. The 'top tier players' always run different lists and different play styles as well which really makes it hard to nail down a meta. In the UK and Europe the 'best players' use the same list all year if not for longer and the players looking to move from middle of the pack to the top, copy those lists and game play styles. -Sean
