I hated how they all turned on Buffy. She sacrificed so much for them and they were just like...meeeh, lets have Faith run the show now. After all she is so trustworthy with her stealing Buffy's body and buying drinks, what could possibly go wrong.

If they reboot it, the original cast should play the parts, especially the part of Buffy which certainly be done by Sarah Michelle. Reference the talk of changing the look of the Buffy character if a different person played her. Note: The character of Buffy has always been blond hair and blue eyes since the original movie came out. Chaning that would ruin any chance of a reboot being successful. I wouldn't watch it if they changed the look of Buffy.

Well, yes Angel is the first but Spike is always there for Buffy like he never leaves Buffy in all. Buffy loves Angel and I like their moment, but Spike is on top of that since Buffy is sharing her feelings or what she feels to Spike. That Buffy never share to her friends or to anyone, only to Spike like Buffy can open up to Spike anything Buffy can tell. And Spike is just there listening to her not judging her, he just listen u know Spike is not saying anything about what Buffy tells him. He will just let Buffy something like that so I prefer Spike in all the boys of Buffy. Since enemies turn to lovers that was a long road u know, they've been through a lot but they still stick to each other, specially Spike he never leaves Buffy, u know whatever negative or what Buffy tells Spike he keeps coming back to Buffy. And from there Buffy see that so that's why Spike is in Buffy's heart because of that. Buffy truly appreciate that as in and that's why Spike is in her heart in short. Buffy truly loves Spike because of that u cannot see it but the gesture and all of Buffy it's totally obvious, yeah Buffy totally care for Spike since it shows too, but the love deep inside is there and Buffy's friends notice that so there Spike all the way 😍😍💞💞

Anya's tirade is much less infuriating if you listen to it as Buffy's own insecure feelings about herself being verbalized back to her AND exposed to everyone in her life AND the young slayers whose lives she's responsible for. Bc thematically that's pretty much what it was. And once the "cold hard truth" about her has been exposed, what's the point of fighting them on it?

Awesome video. I remember when i watched it I celebrated. It was about fucking time, i thought. I had viewed buffy as described in Conversations with Dead People since late season 1. Anya's speech was long overdue. And all the arguments against it forget that it was buffy's behaviour (and not giving a crap about the potentials - their names or their lives) and her recklessness and refusal to consider anyone's opinions (onan entirely new level) that led to that. She wasn't the same person she once was. She said she'd let Dawn die! Her values, her heart, her being able to connect and reconnect to the world in a human way were all left in the coffin. She was just acting as buffy. (Not in a supernatural way, in a trauma and progression of her character way. It was inevitable.)

#SarahMichelleGellar Give us an Buffy 30 years later. The whole cast make it a series 12 hour episodes. We need our Slayer Back in these isolated times ⚔️ #WheresBuffy2024
