Pixel Slate Dual Boot Step By Step Tutorial (RISI-Fedora OS Chrome OS)
I'm not trying to be racist but he has an Arabic MacBook
Very helpful❤❤
Thanks for this video. A couple questions: 1. Why not use actual ChromeOS from Google? 2. What Linux distros are supported? 3. Are there any risks with installing a 3rd party version of ChromeOS or bricking? 4. If you mess up, how do you vet back to a working state? Also, can you make Linux the only OS on the device?
Ubuntu
very helpful video for mach user👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃😃thank you brtr
Thanks, brother, you're the man💪
Saved me hours!
How to relogin your mac os?
If this has persistence, where is it saving all the data/files I create when I’m using the Kali OS?
In the usb itself
Definitely use a fairly large capacity usb drive
My boys a USB Insertimg master
After almost running violently towards my wall out of pure unadulterated frustration this video definitely saved me. THANK YOUUUUUU
Same here 😂
The USB stick starts with Kali and you can see the menu, but nothing happens after that. I also tried it with Ubuntu. It works on a friend's Mac. What could be wrong?
Once I take the usb out will it leave the system? sorry for being late.
Yup it will since kalis data is all on the stick
It's not letting me do the step at 5:30 in the video- when I right click it doesn't give me the edit option, only show in finder. And I can't find the IDE Drive. Help?
Upar right side me slider jaise option hoga teen sliders jaise bana hoga uspar jaake mil jaayega IDE drive wala page
What does it mean when a device is mounted or not mounted?
is this works for mac m3 chip
is this work on mac book pro m3
this video just saved me a whole lot of stress. Thank you!
yeah why not tell people Balena etched does NOT work on Mac catalina and above? oh, waste people's time right?
What do you mean? I’m using it on Monterey. It should work just fine. Are you sure you installed the right BalenaEtcher file
Your video helped me a lot on installing fedora in virtual box. Thank you :D
You're welcome!
4:33 is my pc data going to get erased ??
No at all
Can Kali Linux read HFS+ or AFPS partitions?
Amazing video, thanks for help me to start working with kali
Happy to help!
lsblk: failed to access sysfs directory: /sys/dev/block: Permission denied this my problem when i run it on termux
Thank you! Perfect and easy to follow.
You're welcome!
Great video. Thank you for walking through the WHOLE process step by step. You are the only creator that I have found that has done so. Kudos! I love this video, and I love this channel. I really dig your style man. Just want to ask you one thing though if I could, and I welcome all pertinent answers, why is it necessary to delete those files at the end and restart the VM? What does that accomplish? I love to understand every part of the process so I understand the tech better.
Hello, my friend. The last step is to remove the ISO file we used to install the OS. Otherwise, if we keep it, the system will boot into the ISO and start the installation again. That’s why we remove it and boot from the hard drive directly, as we are already done with the installation.
@@LinuxGeekLab Thank you! Keep up the great work! I am so glad I found your channel, and I look forward to more great videos ;-)
@@LinuxGeekLab I would love to see more Intel Mac specific videos. Keep up the great work!
Please sir I got a yellow shell too What should I do ?
I also did and i'm stuck
Try Kali Linux
I tried this on my Intel Mac 2015 it booted up just fine but I can't use the mouse and trackpad while connected to the Mac USB port. Any suggestions on how to get that to work?
I'm having the same problem with my macbook pro 2018. Did you figure out a solution by now?
I'm having the same problem with my macbook pro 2018. Did you figure out a solution by now?
I used a usb mouse
Привет, не могу установить если линукс кали на макбук, попробовал твой способ, не особо помогло но я все еще пытаюсь ❤
i have this ERROR Bro ( QEMU error: QEMU exited from an error: qemu-x86_64-softmmu: -drive if=none,media=cdrom,id=drive56EF07F2-FC2B-4701-B6CF-B146D740CF79,file=/Users/macbookpro/Downloads/kali-linux-2024.2-installer-amd64.iso,readonly=on: Failed to lock byte 100 )
When I select the windows option it tells me "no bootable device"
Try to choose different options
Same here, I selected the EFI Boot and it worked fine. The EFI Boot may appear twice, one for the MacOS and the other for Kali Linux so try both if it appears twice
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
man you should have much more followers! the quality of the vid is so good for how small you sadly are
I appreciate that! I will try to create more videos in the coming weeks
I agree
is this method have persistence ?
Yes you can try it and let us know your thoughts
it will work on mac m1?
Its for Intel processors! try to download the ARM ISO file and give it a try
its work after download arm 64
Yeah but when downloading the iso file for the Kali Linux, select Apple Silicon instead of 64-Bit and you are all good to go.
Thanks! worked perfectly~
Glad it helped!
a life saver, thank you so much. finally worked.
Glad it helped!
After scrolling whole day this video saved me 🤧❤🔥❤🔥
Enjoy!
Thank you
You are most welcome
Or just install figlet
Then u will not be able to code 😵💫
Enable SSH roor access? WHY??? This is the most idiotic advice ever! Change name on video: Getting Hacked with Ubuntu Server 22.04.3 LTS
Its up to u to enable it or not! Root access sometimes needed for certain tasks
@@LinuxGeekLab That's what you use sudo or su for. You never enable login with root over SSH. SSH is overall not the safest service to enable. If you need it you should never allow login with root, and to be safe use SSH keys login with PasswordAuthentication turned off.
Good video, thanks. Do you know if this works for m1, m2, and m3? Do you know if using VirtualBox as the driver for Multipass works on m1, m2, or m3?
Yes its working fine, give it a try
Aint no way bro wrote in nano 💀
Who doesn’t like nano !
Check status code before you call json()
The code is working fine check out the full tutorial on my UA-cam channel
No offense but i think you need to step outside
Bruh, it's not that deep. It's a simple python program. In fact its so simple that with one command prompt command you can get the same if not better results
@@ismbks too bad, I didn't ask for your opinion. Idc about it, and I just don't like people who criticize other people's content or the person making the content. There's no reason for the extra negativity. Someone learned a skill and wanted to share it, there's no reason to be ashamed of sharing something you like. You shouldn't criticize someone because they have a hobby. Just let people enjoy what they like
@mehidden5202 man I made a joke. I know it's a simple program.
Its just simple script as you mentioned nothing much but for beginners it’s kinda cool 🙂
Which terminal is this?
Its just SSH to Fedora Linux from my iPhone
@@LinuxGeekLaboh kk
were you able to connect to your phone, since latest google security patch is blocking it
Its too old to be sync with phone! I just use it for time !
@@LinuxGeekLab what do you mean it's old to use with phone.. it worked perfectly fine on my S9 until corrupt greedy google blocked it with security update. I used it as watch, remote control for Amazon music, and Poweramp player (Am an audiophile) steps/ km walking count. It was perfect beautiful stylish watch. So sad that not able to sync in now with my s10e. That's why I was looking into alternative as even installing 3rd party fw on it. Did you try to sync it through Huawei app gallery app and Huawei fit?
@@olevet75 i can give it a try and let u know ! But over all you need to upgrade ur phone and watch! This my opinion as tech has changed alot since S10e !
@@LinuxGeekLab yeah I know s10e is relatively old, although it's working fine for most part except aging camera of course, as far as Huawei watch goes I really liked design and yet to find simple stylish look of it like as Huawei G1
@@olevet75 I completely agree with you the Huawei G1 is fantastic
Почему время разная?
Because iphone is slower in boot up
Script kiddie just called a netbook a MacBook 💀💀💀
It literally says MacBook on it
