Would you handle these situations the same way if the girl in question behaved in a way that humiliated you in front of your friends? I had a situation where me and a large group of old college friends were having a party at a bar. One of the guys who I didnt know so well had a gf who was aggressively flirting with me. I beat him in a game of darts in front of her and she literally started putting her hands on my chest. I could see the look of pain and embarrassment on his face. I personally lost respect for them both, but I had no intentions of getting with his girl. She did this in front of a lot of people and now he is engaged to her. I personally dont know if I could maintain my composure and let that happen in front of friends. If we were alone at a bar its a different story, but when it comes to humiliation, I feel as though its an extra slight on top of the massive disrespect.

I was a victim of this mentality so I know it well. It came from, as many people will come to understand, being taught from an extremely early age, even pre-verbal in my case, that in order to feel safe around your family and any semblance of 'love' you have to earn your sense of security, often by achieving and performing in order to gain approval, hence the overblown immature side of masculinity that manifests later in life as excessive independence, failure to acknowledge painful emotions, a deep rooted fear of being cast aside without being propped up by attention from success. When someone was never taught that this is absolutely not how it should be, it opens them up to the labrynth of a life pursuing achievements for something that is not supposed to be earnt, but a fundamental human need that should have, but was never fulfilled by the parental caregivers, in the first place. Citizen Kane is one of my favourite films because of the way it drives home this sad but eternally recurring story of humanity. You can earn respect, sexual attraction, fear, admiration, money. The one thing you cannot earn is love and that freaks the shit out of people who were falsely taught you can earn it because they do not live in a world where it was given freely to them, as it should have.

totally agree with you. I was in this hyper masculine state striving too hard to scale my business, physique, and to achieve personal goals while neglecting some other important areas in my life. I have now incorporated yoga, meditative practices, and pilates several times per week. This has made a significant difference in cultivating some of that feminine energy like you mentioned. I have also improved my relationship with a couple different people close to me, which has also helped keep me more balanced. I am still eager to grow a successful business, build a more impressive physique, and eventually improve my dating/women life. However, incorporating yoga, meditation, breathwork, and being more pleasant and nice to some of those people close to me has help keep me more balanced and self-centered with my thoughts and energy in a more positive way.

I think it also depends on whether the woman has certain diagnosed emotional related issues, like BPD (borderline personality disorder) or things where you backing off and ignoring her kinda works the opposite of a woman who doesn't have those kinds of issues.
