i’m just an idiot with a keyboard, a debatably unhealthy obsession with music, and an internet connection. i mainly post recreations of video game soundtracks that i listen to a lot (like omori, deltarune, moonlighter, oneshot, etc.)
also heads up, i usually upload once in a blue moon, so maybe hold off on subscribing because chances are all i'm going to do is take up space in your subscriptions tab.

APPROACHING INFINITY
greetings friends i have more music to share :3
chapter stuff for looping (unfortunately doesn't loop perfectly but eh)
intro for song - 0:00
loopable part (loop this chapter if you wanna listen to the song without the intro making things annoying) - 00:12
since a sample pack that i used in this song asks for credit, i thought i would mention that pretty much all of the drum samples used in this song come from volume 1 and 2 of "gremino's jungle sample pack", the author of which has a soundcloud right here that you should totally check out: www.soundcloud.com/gremino
alright time to talk about song !!
so as you could prolly tell, this one was yet another song made from jungle samples i found online, just like the last three songs i've posted here. i didn't made this with any specific idea in mind, but apparently it ended up developing into what i can only describe as "obscure racing game theme from the early 2000s".
honestly, i kinda love making these really sample heavy tracks since it puts less pressure on me for composing melodies and is rlly good for practicing other styles aside from what i usually make. point in case, i made this during a four hour car ride that i had to take, and not only did it help me keep in practice with making music despite the fact that i had almost no free time that day, but it was also just a rlly nice time passer in general.
also, i think this might honestly be my favorite out of all of the sample heavy songs i've been making recently since i actually managed to figure out how to properly use the samples to make an actually okay beat that doesn't just use one drum samples with really minor adjustments for the entire song. would you look at that, i'm improving (debatably)
aside from that, there isn't rlly that much complexity to what i made here. pretty much every non-percussion sample follows the same progression throughout the entire song, and the only new ideas that rlly get introduced is in the melody and that little chiptune line that changes about halfway into the song.
anyways, that's about it from me !! actual covers and stuff coming soon...ish.
as always, thank y'all for sticking around and listening, and i hope all of you have a great rest of your day !!!

hi friends i have a rude buster cover for y'all :3 i mentioned this in the description for "GET FUNKY", but i pretty much made a song after finding this break sample from a jungle sample back i found online (again, i don't know if that's what you're supposed to call it so plz be nice to me if i got it wrong i'm just stupid i promise), and then i made a rude buster version because... i can do th...

hi friends i made a thing in the middle of the night again :3 so i recently got my hands on a few jungle samples online, and i was just looking through some and found this cool drum pattern (technically called a break in the folder but idk any terminology for jungle stuff so please don't burn me at the stake if i got it wrong jungle fans i am but a mere idiot), so i ended up spending my entire ...

peep the monstrosity i made friends :3 hi yes so i made this thing bc i couldn't sleep as per usual, and originally i was planning to use it for something else, but it's a little too high-energy for that so i'm just gonna post it here! the thumbnail and in-video art is by me and are literally just some doodles i had laying around that i replicated on my drawing tablet. btw, you ever notice how ...
martian underground on piano but like poorly improvised at midnight (ft. my shower)

hi hm yes i did a thing credits: i drew the thumbnail i played the song in the video, which is essentially just me trying to improvise off of "martian underground" from yume nikki massive props to my shower for running in the background and giving us that spicy [A T M O S P H E R E] (surprisingly, i didn't have to do too many takes for this video, so i got there just in time for the water to bo...
ASGORE + intro but it was made in garageband by an idiot

unironically when i first played undertale this theme was prolly one of my absolute favorites. mostly bc i really liked asgore as a character, but the music itself is also rlly good on its own so... as always, this cover was done by listening with ear and mostly following a piano tutorial when i got stumped. unfortunately, this particular song was rlly difficult to do with ear since it turns ou...

dw i am definitely going to replace that thumbnail in the future, i just can't think of anything rn and i really want to post this so it's pretty much a fact of life that if i ever make a song that sounds in the slightest bit serious/emotional, i made it in the middle of the night bc i couldn't sleep. but you know, as far as making songs in the middle of the night go, this one is pretty good i ...

i am technically right with this video title, but only once a year. tiny credits section: thumbnail image: The_Hydroxian/status/1474999674251755523 anyways about song: i made this pretty quickly considering my usual speed for making original songs. and, in what seems to be typical fashion for me, i made it by keysmashing on my piano trying to play a song (this time it was glory from...

i know on little cat feet is technically more popular, but phosphor definitely gives it a run for its money. i would even say that it is the best piece of oneshot music if eleventh hour didn't exist lol. as always, done by ear and following along with midi/piano tutorials. the bell/lead part in particular was pretty hard to listen for, which is unusual since i typically do well with leads by ea...

Woah i forgot to check on amn after seeing the notifs and going "oh better check that later" and forgetting three times so time for some catchup. Also this one goes hard
welcome back! you didn’t miss much of anything, all i’ve been doing for the past couple of uploads is getting unhealthily obsessed with jungle samples lol
Wow
I think this one might be my new favorite of the ones you have made so far! Keep up the good work!
Oh wow, you've come really far since I last checked your channel. Also very nice to see that the Earthbound/Omori vibes haven't gone anywhere. Very neat stuff.
hell yeah ty for listening and for the compliments!!
Arctic-Style White Surf Style 6.
Очень сочно звучит
Ахуеть, сначала и не понял что это не оригинал. Слушал и кайфовал.
its pretty nice actually
yeaaaahhh !!! 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
*smells like phosphor. *and hard-working bangers.
This is pretty nice for being made in garage band, it’s really catchy :)) I’ve been playing this on repeat for an hour by now too you know it’s good
This is definitely on par with the original.
Also lmao at myself double commenting bc I can't be bothered to use the normal UA-cam app to edit my first but I also want to say this reminds me of the altered versions of songs from the Super Mario 64 ROM hack B3313, close enough that you know what it is and well composed, but also distinct enough that it feels a little off-kilter. Makes me imagine a version of OMORI like that hack, where Headspace becomes a less narratively coherent but massively intricate and expansive world closer to the dream world in Yume Nikki, while the waking world similarly gets expanded and changes constantly with each awakening in subtle and nonsubtle ways to the point you're never certain if you've ever truly woken up until the very end. Anyways I really like this cover, it's easy to listen to on loop.
wait that’s actually such a cool way to describe that holy- like it’s just regular omori but there’s constantly little subtle things that appear that just throw off your muscle memory of the game, including aesthetic stuff like the music? genuinely if i could figure out omori modding i would try to do something like that bc that’s seriously such a cool idea but yeah no thank you for listening and all!! and yeah, i try to put some effort into making sure it loops well bc that stuff always annoyed me when i try to listen to something and it just fades out at the end only to come back full volume at the beginning
@@a_music_nerd Not just that but also expanded, so there's extra little side quests and explorable parts of areas and the like- I came up with a bunch of ideas for it, like incorporating unused places and elements from beta screenshots (which was another interesting thing B3313 did), two endings, and multiple versions of Faraway Town. Making it as fleshed out as I like seems like it'd take some herculean effort though (and learning how to code and use RPGMaker lmao). And same here about music video loops. Always painful when you know it's a video game track that loops normally but the video you find for it doesn't.
A home for flowers (dandelion)
it's so difficult to not click on this video...
omg undertale also v fun to (respectfully) slap bass over it
does this imply there is such a thing as disrespectful slap bass but seriously hell yeah have fun!!
Man I wanted to click so bad but rude buster.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SO FUNKYYY YEAAAAAAHHH !!!
woah :0
it's the one motif from undertale!
bingo !! you get a cookie
How does this only have 45 views
sometimes that’s just how it be also tbf there are some things that i could’ve definitely improved in this but eh
Man I wanted to click so bad
hell yeah it worked
Feels like a sonic rush song, i like it ❤
I NEED THIS IN SPOTIFY
In my head when I listen to your songs I always imagine them in an rpg and this is a music based section with the beep blocks fron mario for sure (yes I know that's what you said too but genuinely it fits the vibe lmao) Then ofc blue skies is the village, flying away the entrance into this world in my eyes and so on. Excited to see what's added into this headspace (omori reference!?) next.
this is my new favorite way to interpret my original songs lol, i’m just making an entire soundtrack for a game that doesn’t exist. though you might actually have a point seeing as how my rhythms for melodies are so generic to each other than they may as well be leitmotifs lmao
You couldn't sleep? My body woke me up early and I ended up finding this. Funny.
both of our bodies have no sense of routine 🥳
@@a_music_nerd precisely.
It's more cute than normal 🥰
Somehow, the way you play the piano reminds me of the FNaF 3 Good Ending theme, and I really like it (It took me 2 replays to heard the shower solo, but it absolutely worth it )
Is that noelle from deltarune on the cover?!?!?!?
This reminds me a lot of this one specific moment in my childhood. I would get sent to my aunt's house a lot because my mom and dad were always at work or busy, leaving me and my brother alone a lot, and not associating with us much. As a result, my aunt would often take us. She had a piano in her living room, and me and my brother were always in awe of it. All the keys it had... The pretty sounds it made... And my aunt actually knew how to play a few songs on it. One night, she had played A little song on it for me when I was crying. I don't think I'm ever going to forget that. (Sorry for the long comment haha)
aww that’s actually so sweet of your aunt tho. i’m glad my silly little playing brought back some memories lol
@@a_music_nerd Haha yeah I love her to bits <3
The shower solo was crazy. Oh, the piano was good too.
this shouldn’t be as funny to me as it is lmao
I should probably try Yume Nikki tbh
you should!! it’s a little hard to get used to the fact that it’s so abstract and directionless, but that’s really what makes it so fun.
This do be slappin' tho
Honestly wasn’t expecting much when I clicked on this video but this is fire dude
Cool
Geez this is great
I'm beating Elden Ring bosses to this
hell yeah get their ass

This is so cool! Thanks! Have a great day and God bless you and your family!
this is great
I really like the instruments
I agree, Asgore is a very Underrated character (pun not intended) this is a very good cover of an also very underrated song
This feels like an Undertale gag
What synths did you use for this? This is great!
there's a lot, so i'm just gonna dump the names of em as well as what they were used for here. pretty sure they can all be found either in default mobile garageband or in downloadable sound library packs, but unfortunately i don't remember which pack each synth comes from so srry! pixel dust (main lead/bass) decaying circuit (bass) starts with voice pad (chorus) fantasy echoes (supplementing lead/chorus/countermelody) day spa (chorus) hollywood strings (chorus/bass/minor flair) celestial voices (minor flair) treasure hunt (countermelody) boxy room pluck (countermelody) art duo (vocal inst, used right before the toriel leitmotif section goes to full intensity) cosmic boys choir (vocal inst, used right before the toriel leitmotif section goes to full intensity) pixel ep (countermelody) oak piano dream synth (just that one piano section before the end) i-95 chronicle piano (just that one piano section before the end) bluebird (drumset) scientific method (drumset) blue ridge (drumset) i hope this helped like at all lmao.
@@a_music_nerd thank you lots!
this is a banger song, you earned a subscriber
hell yeah welcome to the channel!!
1:24 is so good
this is actually great
If it makes any sense, this feels more ethereal than regal. The original song evokes feelings of remorse, yes, but it also feels grandiose, since Asgore IS the King of the Monsters. This one seems to play more into the mystical side of Undertale. It's easy to forget, but this IS a fantasy world with magic elements at play, and this cover reflects that AMAZINGLY.
honestly i can rlly see that! in my original few drafts of this cover i did kinda try to go for a more regal style with the instrumentation (i wanted to do some cool stuff with some makeshift “trumpets” and more regal sounding strings during the intense sections essentially), but i switched to other instruments, mostly cause i’m a little better at pulling off the ethereal style lmao (also cause attack/release issues with the aforementioned instruments made it hard for those instruments to fit in well with the rest of the cover’s soundscape, which kinda sucks but what’s done is done) i also did try to lean into the remorse stuff more heavily with the cover since that was what drew me to asgore’s character so much when i first played undertale, but i did have to scale back on a few elements (specifically, i had a cool idea for a more offbeat, intense drum pattern during the later bits of the section with toriel’s leitmotif for the E M O T I O N, but that idea sounded way better in my head than in practice lol) i’m glad that you enjoyed listening though!! there was so much stuff i wanted to do with this song since asgore specifically is really meaningful for me, so i’m happy that it’s still nice to listen to despite so many of my ideas for the cover ultimately falling through!
i was just like yeehaw when i heard the song
i'm going to bestow you the highest honor i have. *adds to my playlist of "songs i like"*
This feels like an Undertale gag
