Приєднався 6 січ 2023
Hello earth angels 🫶🏼 My name is Sierra and I'm a solo mom traveler based in Texas. I travel part time and live full time in my renovated 29 foot travel trailer with my son to live more freely, slowly, and immersed in nature!
In addition to our adventures and all the ups and downs of this beautiful life, my videos will have hints of DIYs/Reno projects, spirituality & sustainability as these areas also bring so much love in my life. I hope to create a digital resting space for you as you follow along on our journey 🍃

omg Sierra this looks so beautiful!!
O.g, you so inspired me, thank you! I'm remodeling my motor home, by myself and I needed to see what you did, it's amazing❤
Can u do an update on your roof please
How did the paint bond to the eternabond? Great video. Wishing you many happy years of no roof issues.
Good job on your RV. And nicely done video. It feels so good after you take a chance on yourself and tackle something huge when you finish
How lovely! 😊 Send me an e-mail if you want to hear about my FAVORITE place in New Mexico (then the opinion will be "solicited" ha ha!)
Your baby is so cute!!
Your videos are fantastic, and I really admire your storytelling skills. I've been following your RV journey vlogs for quite some time, and you have a great way of showcasing the places you visit. The hook in this video was especially well done. Wishing you all the best! If you ever need help creating eye-catching thumbnails, feel free to reach out-I specialize in that.
this healed something in me
Bro this is my dream lifestyle too
I hope it comes true for you 🥺
Yay you! I do get a little uneasy on your long ventures. I am so proud of you though and you had an amazing friend that helped get you started with the driving tips. Including knowing not to drive past 4 hours a day. Keep blazing those trails little girl!
That’s understandable, you’re my mom 🥲 love you mommy! Thank you for always cheering me on 💓
It is STUPID and DANGEROUS to drive 10 hrs.
I think it depends on the person and how much they can handle but I didn’t drive it in one go, I drove 7 the first day & 3 the next. 🙂 but even if I did, to us Texans, an 8-10 hour drive isn’t bad at all lol
Goo beauriful I wish I could experience
Hopefully you can experience sort of live vicariously through this video 🥺🫶🏼
Great job! I, too, am working on my RV by myself. It's a slow go as I have many irons in the fire., as well as i am not a fan of heights, so working near the edge terrifies me. 😢 Almost done sealing the vents and sides, next is the Henry's Tropi-Cool. Needless to say, I waited way to long to get started, but will be happy when I'm done. Just hoping to get it water tight. Thanks for sharing your video, your are truly an inspiration! ❤
Thank you for watching & the kind words 💞 Best of luck to you on your project, you got this! Just take it nice and slow, it will all be worth it in the end :) it’s a great investment honestly
Beautiful😌needed that.
So happy this came to you when you needed it 🌸
😭😭😭😭😭

I mean this in a completely uncreepy way but, you're very pretty. I'm a country boy myself, so I can relate to this type of life. God bless you and your little one😁
Thank you, I appreciate it 😊 a slow simple life is truly so beautiful.. God bless you as well!
A little late to this video but great job. I am a 69 yr old women. I just finished doing this to my 33ft 5th wheel in Oregon by myself. I’ve owned rvs for almost 40yrs so I’m well versed on maintaining my rvs. Took me 4 days as well. My roof is 15 yrs old. Scrubbed the roof for 2 days and put the same tape on everything. Then 2 days to paint. I chose the NON silicone version of Henry,s which required 3 coats. I didn’t want to give up the option of using Dicor lap sealant in the future if needed vs using silicone and I didn’t like how the silicone looked on other rvs after several years. I love how much cooler the roof felt. I had to use knee pads to clean because the roof was so hot. But after my 1st coat I went barefoot to finish it up. It was a breeze to roll on and it was latex so easy to wash off. Thank you so much for posting this and keep up the good work. I know what you went through sister. 9:08
You are awesome!!!
Thank you for sharing your project and awesome art. ❤ I bet your son loves his new bed!
Curious about if bonded to the rubber roof to date
I haven’t done a very thorough inspection but I have gone up a lot to remove my starlink or to just sit up there and it seems to be doing well! I’ve only seen a couple of spots where it lifted on the eternabond tape maybe a cm long. I’m planning to do a full 1 year out review soon!
Good job Gal Happy Camping becareful out there.
Thank you sir! :)
U need to do the Sides. U would have less worries & problems if u got the 6” tape that way prevent any leaks.
Awesome video im not a professional either but from the research i did i too came up with the same products you did i was doing my 1995 Georgie Boy but i sold it so i returned the Henry Tropi-Cool bucket now i have a 96 Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE and its an aluminum roof so it doesn't need this process.
Wow it looks so amazing!!
Thank you 🥰🫶🏼
Started with this video. Sierra, you do such a nice job and your son is adorable! I have subscribed and look forward to catching up on more of these. You might enjoy our winter series from a volunteer job at a wildlife refuge in Arizona.
Awesome. Be safe
Thank you :-)
Not always easy and not always fun . You have to be committed to doing it carefully and properly. Lots of money and patience. Learn to bend. 😂😢😮😅
Exactlyyy, it’s definitely a learning curve and labor of love 😅🥲 but so worth it to me
You're doing amazing, your son is lucky to have a mother like you! I know it can and will be hard, but you got this! ❤ Sending love from Norway 🤩
Wow thank you so much 🥺 ur an angel 💞
Oh girl, your the boss! 💪Your projects are great! 💜👍 Many blessings to you and yours! 🙏🤗
Thank you, I try! 🥲 sending so much love to you 🫶🏼
💚🧡 ❤
Thank you for being here! 🫶🏼
Looks So cozy!😊🍵. I cant wait for the crisp Autumn evenings to arrive too. What mountains are those? 🏔️
Can you believe this was just a couple of weeks ago? Summer in the mountains is just perfect 😭 usually sunny and clear but there were days we got some light rain and it was so lovely. But yes, I love fall too! These are the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Northern NM! This particular area was near Taos :)
Great job!
Thank you!! :-)
Did you use this on your slide out roof as well?
Good question, I did not but wish I did! There was no real reason I didn’t, I think it just escaped my mind. I think because I was planning to get some slide awnings
I've heard a lot of sad SOB stories were you just looking for somebody to give you a free piece of land? If you were it's not going to happen in the United States! Where did you get that RV rig that you're living in now? That bad boy is pretty expensive. The United States government just doesn't give away free property ever!🤣
Why would I expect free land given to me and what does that have to do with this video? I said my initial plan was to travel and boondock on free public campsites while saving up to buy my own piece of land eventually but then we went through a traumatic experience so I decided to put a pause in my travels and be stationary at an RV park while we healed and found stability.
good luck on y'alls journey! be safe!
Thank you for your well wishes! :-)
The world knew you had suffered enough? Maybe the world is waiting for you to let your guard down so it can bring back the suffering even worse
I don’t really believe anyone can truly have their “guard up” against suffering, the suffering will always come no matter what. It’s just a matter of accepting and embracing it. :-)
Congrats! You go girl! 😊 Breathtaking views. 🏔️
Thank you love!🫶🏼 the climb was so worth it 🥲
you’ve done a good job as a mother, getting you and your son through all of that and it’s admirable how strong you’ve been
Thank you so much friend 💞🥲
Exactly. You're awesome! 😊
Thank you 🥹🫶🏼
The Henry's won't stick to the Eterna bond tape, it will start peeling off the tape in a year or two.
Oh no, hopefully that’s not the case. So far so good and it’s been over a year 🙏🏼 I read a lot of forums saying to put the silicone over the eternabond.. I guess time will tell
@@sierralescalante if you talk to Henry’s they will tell you it does not stick to eternabond
@@janetross5755 why does it need to stick to the eternabond though
@@jamesmacatangay8360 if you ask that, then why does it need to stick to the membrane?
@@janetross5755 cant understand what you wrote...please try again
This moved me to tears you’re a beautiful mother and soul keep your light shining ☀️ the storm clouds always move on.
Your comment made me tear up myself, wow 🥹 thank you so much for your kindness and for being here 💞 you have a beautiful soul as well 🌞
Hows it holding up since?
Great! A few small areas of the Henry’s tropicool coating has chipped off (mainly on the back seam where I move things on it a lot like my solar panels or starlink) but overall pretty good. No roof leaks at all & I think it has helped a lot with the heat 🙏🏼
Looks great 👍 good job. I've put that type of roof on myself it's hard work again, and great job!
Thank you!! I appreciate you ☺️
So so so proud of youuuuu Sierraaaa 🩷🩷🩷 you are so strong and full of life and deserve nothing but love and happiness ❤
Love you forever 🥹🫶🏼 thank you for being there for me 💞
Wow, looks great! I’m so impressed!! You go girl!!
Thank you so much!💞
If you're still in east texas tyler state park is a beautiful park. Enjoy.
Thank you for the recommendation! I’ll definitely be heading back to east TX soon, I love the piney woods 🫶🏼
I commend you on doing that job. I need to do mine but have to wait for the 100°+ weather to break and I have 2 knee replacements and am not as stable as I use to be on roofs and ladders. Good job.
Thank you so much!! Best of luck to you, please be safe up there 🫶🏼
