I always wish I had more time, but in this video I made the most out of less than 24 hours to spend in Mesa Verde National Park. I took a ranger-guided tour of the Cliff Palace dwelling, took some beautiful drives, explored more relics from the Ancestral Pueblo people, hiked to see some incredible Petroglyphs, and camped in my Honda Element at Morefield Campground. 00:00 Intro 00:15 Love letter...

Hey y'all! This was such a fun one to make, so I hope you enjoyed it too. In this video I started my round-Colorado road trip at the Great Sand Dunes National Park, where I spent two nights backpacking on the Sand Ramp Trail, camping at the Escape Dunes backcountry site, and then I backpacked into the dunes backcountry (with a day hike at Zapata Falls on the way). It truly was magical and other...

Beautiful Legs 🦵
Cool video
Thanks!
Wonderful scenery as always.
I appreciate that 😊
What a episode! Atmosphere and your editing are always flawless! Absolutely epic!
Thank you 😊
Beautiful video! It's is not easy to get good spots at the parks these days. Trips that are "trouble free" are worth much more than views. I hope you enjoyed my home state! 😎
Thank you! That’s so true. And I really did, I’m already thinking about a return trip!
The hobby lobby 5mm EVA density foam is one great alternative to use as window covers
beautiful as always ! im definitely putting this park on my bucket list 🤩🤩🤩
Thanks so much, you definitely should!
Alex, you deserve someone to enjoy these special places with you. Thats my prayer for you.
You find some lovely places, Love from the uk
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. 👍2
Thanks so much!
Lovely episode, you definitely know how to make enjoyable content! Shots are nicely framed as always! Oh, 850 years old is truly remarkable!
I’m a local and I know the Gerard Trail well. That .62 mile stretch you spoke of on the park map is very inaccurate. It’s closer to 1.5 or more miles. By doing the Swinging Bridge cutoff, you missed the northern part of the trail loop. That’s where Drake Well Park and Museum are located. (Titusville). They tell the story of the oil boom in 1859. Check it out next time you’re hiking up here. The oil derricks at Benninghoff Tableau are iconic. It’s an amazing view of them across that valley. Great video!
“I didn’t bring a knife” ?????
What a beautiful place!
Hi , watching on a Sunday evening from the uk another lovely video, stay safe on your travels
This looks and feels just majestic! Spectacular episode, that bird sound was a bit spooky 😄
Alexandra do you have a pee toilet in your car?
Nicely produced video!
I had an Element for about 15 years. Ended up with over 350K miles on it when I finally got rid of it for a Jeep Renegade. The road noise was pretty bad in the Element but it was a good vehicle. I'm enjoying your adventures so keep them coming.
This is a wonderful video! Mesa Verde is a magical place.
Love this video! Colorado is where my soul lives and thrives. ❤ I often drive 12 hours from Oklahoma to Colorado to hike and backpack. Glad you had an amazing adventure.
Just found your channel. Love your videos and commentary. The part of this one where you talked about fear and letting it inform you but doing it anyway was powerful. Over the last year I started solo backpacking and it's been so incredibly freeing and empowering. I've always wanted to do it but have always held back because of fear. No more! Watch out world.
All of that has to be a great experience. I can't get past my fear of being attacked by a bear or I would do it. I know the odds are in my favor but I'll just keep watching videos like yours instead.
Also watching from the UK - thanks so much for showing the amazing cliff houses and petroglyphs.
Hi from the UK, lovely video and great scenery .
What a unique scenery, some shots looks simply unreal! Absolutely beautiful 👏👏
6:21 what a beautiful photo! you are so talented❤
Nice video! 😃If you get the chance to visit more of Colorado (after the National Parks), consider "The Canyon of the Ancients" National Monument (Puebloan Culture) the largest concentration of archeological sites in all of North America!
Thank you! I’m already itching to plan another trip, so I’ll add that to my list!
What an incredible place to backpack and explore. Do you have an Instagram? I'd love to follow your photography.
Wonderful scenery, wonderful video, live your dreams.
Wow! What a cool experience. Masterfully filmed. Congrats on the chair. I tell ya, I can't do without mine. It's a game-changer in terms of helping me rest and refresh whenever I take a break, and of course at the end of the day. Being able to lean back makes all the difference.
Thank you!
Beautiful video. Beautiful site and just grateful you took the time to show us. Keep it up.
Well done video! 😃 I have lived here in Colorado for 44 years, and only visited the Dunes for the first time this year..... it is definitely a cool vibe and experience there. Lots to explore in this state! Keep up the adventure! 😎
Love the video! Just recently started backpacking. Oil creek was my first as also being from pgh area. Been to the dunes never camped there. Must go back. Keep up the awesome content!!!
