More adjustments isnt always a good thing ido better with a basic phantom
Is it track legal
Awesome job! Thanks for sharing!
laughed so hard when the dude in the 2 cycle got whipped with that mod body!!!
I've seen three fabricators that i would call for anything. After watching your videos i have to add a 4th
Awesome video. Its the little things that add up to big gains
what nose is that?
Great video! What gauge of metal do you use for the foot box and around the driver?
So much work and attention to detail what a rocket of a car
Well done as always
Badass as always BJ!!!
Do they make those spacers for 5x5 hubs, not wide 5? Guess I can go search. I have an old ASA chassis, building a road race car, it is all 5x5.
This is best racing vid on how to just get the know how's to get basics. When you talk about load do you mean catching a spot on the corner the right way or is it all pre run setup?
What do you mean get the load in the tires? I'm new. So you gotta roll well into corners are saying which depends on setup. The wind tip was clutch. I get that like in any sport. Thanks you for your info.
Great vid
Setups work counter symmetrically like our bodies. For example. If your right side of body is tight. Our left side needs work. Same principles apply to setups in cars alot of times
Excellent. What a beautiful piece. I would love to have a similar version just 1974 in buccaneer red. Dreaming of Pontiacs.
Great work and video. Now I know why shops charge so much for a new body mounted, lotta labor.
You got a part number for those front spindles. Got myself a set of those hubs and I can’t find any spindles that say that they’ll work with them.
the port city is inline on the right-side? the fury runs a 2 inch wider rf? what about the left side?
“IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT”
What grit did you use to wet sand?
Can the Gen 6 nose and maybe fenders be mounted to the older style body.. abc style?
I can't believe this only has 7 comments. This video is a gem. The amount of "pro tips" in this video is incredible. Thank you so much sir. This is what makes the internet great. Well done. Hanging a 5 Star "metal" body with fiberglass roof and this video is invaluable. Your craftmanship is top tier!
Seriously, bro, excellent content (And I haven't watched the racing clips yet!). Just all the details, the handwritten notes, the work table, it goes on. Keep it up. Older karter here...I have a package but I'm stoked on dirt track racing now. I'll be in the lo206 Heavies somewhere in Texas!
Thanks for the information. I'm in sothern oregon and I'm building a clone cage outlaw kart..I'm a big guy myself I'm 6 ft 300 lbs..now I have to find cheap parts like rims tires and you know lots of other things..your stearing rod tips I'm sure will help me ..mine has a binding spot ..thanks
Thank you for your time
Appreciate the videos bud. I'm doing my best to learn all I can about my late model set up. So much to learn and understand. If I put the time in it will pay off. Appreciate you!!!
When doing the nerf bar drill through both sides of the tubing before mounting, then you can mark from the inside through the tube through to the body and always be lined up perfectly when drilling the door.
Where did you get that late model body for your go cart
Great stuff 👍
thank you
Great video
Any tips for those of us that run a no bump stop , no ride height rule? Seems like everyone I race with turns it into a giant go-kart. Coil over Stiff springs (600+) and giant sway-bar (1 5/8 ,1 3/4) and then just set it to almost no ride height. Would that make sense? Or would a conventional setup that allows travel be better? The same track I use to run 300s and 1 1/8th bar and was competitive before they made this rule change this year. Just curious what you would run. Thx!
I’d be interested to hear his opinion on this as well as here at my home track there is a mixed variety of setups..but we have no ride height rule
@@tcburgess2939did you find a good setup with no ride height rule?
@@jumpshotkangaroo7585 right now the class we are currently running is a no ride height rule no bump stop allowed late model Division. We are running heavy springs and having success.
@@tcburgess2939 interesting. Did you change the front geometry at all? I have been running 325s across the front with a 1 1/8th bar and we are junk compared to other guys . Maybe I'll try the heavy stuff next week
Love your videos bj I learn a lot watching them
Another Awesome Video! I cant wait for the next one! Thank you for taking the time to document the race car build process! Your videos have helped me out tremendously!
Agreed!
Nice and thank you for your videos cause they are answering a lot of questions I have building my super late model.
Sweet nice car
Great to see your new car! Can’t wait to see videos on the build!!! I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thanks
Awesome! i hope you continue to document the build! i always learn a great deal from your videos! Thank you for sharing!
Glad to see another episode BJ
Very informative video!
I used to watch you when I was a kid. Are you still racing?
Great work. I just found this channel, and I watched a bunch of your videos. Hopefully, you upload more. I like the suspension geometry video. I need all the information I can get for my build.
making this way more complicated than it is. if you worked as much as you talked, the car wouldve been done. also what an ugly ugly red
11:30 Can you elaborate on this? I think you said vertically but I think you mean parallel it would be awesome to see you set this up and make the Mark… Thank you very much really appreciate it and I have subscribed
How does the rack move when it’s in specific holes?
You r lost. Dont waste your time. Ur left side weight is because of the stupid left bar. Your a joke. Stick with supers. Karts are low light and left. Ur an idiot
Thank you! This helped me out a lot. Installed this on my 92 Camaro road race car.
