I'm 27 years old and will be 28 years old on August 5th. When I was 12 years old, I was in school. We all had to write about what we wanted to be when we grew up. When it was my turn to read, I said that I wanted to be a princess so I could make little children happy. My teacher said, "Hannah, you're too old to be a princess. You should be a witch instead!" When I asked her if I could be a good witch, she said, "No! Good witches are just princesses with magical powers! You must be an evil witch!" Because of her words, I felt like I was too old to be a princess. I even tried to be evil, such as skipping church, thinking that the devil was my boyfriend, and calling my newborn baby brother Jeremiah evil. With each passing year, I felt like I was too old to be a princess. Ironically, Princess Diana was that same teacher's most favorite person. My paternal aunt's grandson always calls me a princess. When Jeremiah was a toddler, he always called me a princess. He's 15 years old now. I often apologize to him for calling him evil. He completely forgives me and will always love me. That teacher's mindset was that a girl who doesn't get her period yet is a princess, a girl or a woman who gets her period every month is a witch, and a woman who stopped getting her period is a queen. Her mindset was that a boy is a prince from the moment he's born to the day he dies and only becomes a king once he becomes a father.

Why is this so relatable? 💕

Honestly that way of life is still better than getting on dating apps 😂
