This reminds me, I need to get started working on my 1966 Malibu, it has been sitting 40 years, I bought it 1970, my senior year. Ran G/S.
Sounds like a beauty!
I had a 64 Chevy nova before I went into the Navy. The engine was bad, and the wiring needed work, my parents sold it to someone who was going to restore it , glad it had a good home
The best part that you are explaining why you are doing this, this is what i was missing in fordman
I don't like that you classify yourself as ugly
The only auto repair videos i can watch this style, you and Simon fordman, other videos with talking is so boring
Good video,I’ve got a 63 4 door nova no rust never been welded r/h drive maybe the only one in the uk

Interesting spark plug tool
I subscribed bud , as long as yer workin on that Chevy I’m here , doin a 56 2 dr wagon my self
I appreciate it! I do have a rotation of cars I'm working on while I wait for parts but the Nova will be back I promise
My first car at age 16 in 1975 was a 1963 Nova SS hardtop. Back then it was only 12 years old. It was in decent condition overall, but the engine burned a lot of oil. It had the 194 ci straight six. The 1963 Nova SS was not available with a V8. Had a floor shifted PowerGlide transmission. It was my dads car. He gave it to me shortly after I got my license, and bought a 1972 Ford Pinto wagon. It burned more oil than gas. Was probably maintained. He had only owned it about 2 years. Within a year I had replaced that straight six with a 283 V8. I built a custom dual exhaust with glasspacks, and put aluminum 5 slotted wheels on it. I wanted Cragar S/S wheels, but being a 4 lug setup, they wouldn't fit. I drove it till 1981, sold it, and bought a 1972 Rally Nova with a 350/4 speed.
Sorry Nic had to skip i desire a 63 Nova badly you made my day thansk whatever happen to a plain simple anerican cruiser you are the best signed Bill in Boston 🎉❤
Wish I owned a Nova
Love your videos. Only suggestion is to add some conversation. That would add to your videos. Keep up the great videos.
Cool Nova! Looks like you got someice to deal with!😮
Wow, that's nice!
im 63 and my 1st car was a 63 nova SS i bought it not running it had a straight 6 with a 3 on the tree
I had a 64 Chevy II and installed a 283 with the powerslide tranny. I owned the world then in 1971! I was 17 then...
There's a big part of me that wants to put a 283 or 350 in it!
We had a 62 chevy 2 , 2dr factory a/c 2 speed power glide trans and straight 6 in1977. I rebuilt the 6 and we drove it for 14yrs, sold it for a station wag. W e miss the car so much and have never seen one like it today. Great vid thank you
Awesome video brother, keep it up. That Nova looks beautiful.

9:14 non-distilled water? Wouldn't that risk causing rust in the cooling system?
Reminding me that im overdue some maintenance on my 99
👍
This was an outstanding video. Great camera work, no BS or background music, just a man and his truck. You've earned a subscription, can't wait for the next one!
