A Citroën C6 in Tokyo 🇯🇵
What a surprise to see a Citroen C6 here in Tokyo, Japan. It must be a 3.0L Petrol version and it has a specific Japanese option inside.

Beautiful! road trip, very nice car. Thank you! For the video. I enjoy a lot! Too.
Thank you !
Such a beautiful! Car man. sadly here in USA We do not have a Citroën . I think so because they med great car. This is why. I'm so glad! that you can enjoy this wonderful machine!
Yes that's sad that since the DS you don't have Citroën there
Fantastic review, cheers mate.
Thank you !
May be we’ll see your C6 auto trip Paris - Tokyo some day
Haha who knows !
@@Marcsauto 👍
Hello, Would like to make timestamps for music used in your video?
Mesmerizing. How do you drive for so long without getting drowsy and needing to stop for the night?
That's the magic of C6
@@Marcsauto Hahaha touché. I wish Citroen sold cars in Canada!
It's still Citroën.
There is more c6s in Japan then you think believe me 😊
A Jap with taste 🎉
In China its still alive. Additionally, the Dongfeng Citröen C6 has Citröen Dispatch's steering wheel.
I'm so in love with my Petrol C6. I recently purchased it from Spain and currently sitting on 99500km, soon to turn over 100k. The car has been flawless, the ride superb (compared to my C5) and just the car turns people's heads like nothing
Have a good road with your C6, the petrol version is so rare !
@@Marcsauto Indeed it is very rare. I had to travel to Spain (From Bulgaria) So I can purchase one. Considently, the car came in with all the features available for the model. So currently, having one of the best C6's in my country.
nice video I like the gauge cluster very classy
Thank you, yes I really like its elegant design
i love this car, I owned some time ago a Peugeot 607 3.0 v6, but C6 is a level above
Cool car video!
Thank you !
Such a timeless and elegant design.
Not the quietest of engines. But the only car i have driven 500 miles in and felt o.k. Seats wear well but there was the odd switch that must have come out of a C1. Finished off when the eclectics went into meltdown with me. Shame
Love Tokyo and love C6. When I was there I saw a renault 4 pass by and I couldn't help but to turn my head and follow it all the way in between all the new toyotas
Amazing car. I believe the lower middle screen is the same they have put in lower trim versions instead of the middle infotainment screen. Seen one with that sold in Poland few months ago with that exact same screen. Since then I have only seen them in videos of RHD models in China, Japan, etc. so I have no clue if it's an aftermarket part to show what's going on in the car when having navigation on or a genuine Citroen one. Have been scouring the internet since then, but have had no luck in finding out information about this part.
I didn't know that it was possible to find such option in Europe, very interesting thank you for your comment !
@@Marcsauto I'm not sure if the one with "vent screen", as I call it, seen in Poland was an imported part, aftermarket or factory option. (C6 was LHD) If I am correct though, the small screens fitted there are standard on 2.2HDi models in place of the optional tilted screen infotainment/navi, so they put the screen instead as an onboard computer, so you can see A/C control, fuel usage, etc.
Amazing car! very luxurious! Thank you for your videos! How many C6 are there in Japan and in Poland? Thank you
Wow! what an event! Marvelous machine.

Song at the start?
Salutations !
Hello from Sweden! What a beautiful car and so silent! Like Your driving skills, safe and fast! Regards Peter!
This car does not have electric adjustment for the rear seats?
No it was one of the rare options that I don't have on my C6
They are still able to build good cars, they just decide not to do it.
What’s the System song at Millau?
Spiders
ahhhh french people, who need to say 4*20+10+5 just to say ninetyfive...love it ahahahha
That screen with the GPS and all, its exactly the same as the one inside the Peugeot 407 sw
Kraftwerk was so original, nice camera. 🙂
Ive been trying to find c6 one in my country for a long time
I was all excited for the crossing of the Millau Viaduct after you passed under it. Where was it? Then the magnificent steel lattice rail bridge. Us Aussies took our TT leased Citroen C4 Cactus 1.6 turbo diesel ETG from Montelimar down to Montpellier over the Millau Viaduct up the wonderful A75 as you also enthused, and on to Tours and the Loire Valley before heading around Paris on the Perpherique to Aulnay to the Citroen Conservoitre museum... Then up to Arromanches, Monte St Michael, Cherbourg, Ireland, Scotland, England, lastly Pozieres and Paris. Started out Citroen eight touring week's in Lisbon in Portugal... Love touring Europe by Citroen... In Australia during the course of 52 years I have owned 17 Citroens from my first car - an Aussie assembled 1962 Citroen ID19. Can you believe the first car to circumnavigate around Australia was in 1925 in a 1923 Citroen 5CV. The same size as Continental Europe but in many cases barely a dirt track...
Wow that's amazing ! Too bad we don't sell Citroën anymore in Australia nowadays
@@Marcsauto Hopefully the Renault importer will continue with Citroen from November 2024 when Peugeot / Stelantis pulls the plug after 102 years continuous sales in Australia including ID assembly from 1961-66.
Unless someone has experienced the fatigue free long legs of a big hydropneumatic Citroen they can not understand that the nitrogen springing in the suspension spheres isolates you from the microvibrations of even the best metal sprung cars. Supreme grand tourers... Here in Australia during the 1970s I used to fly through the countryside in my 1972 DS21 EFI 5 speed Pallas at 145-160 kph. Same when I imported my 1978 CX2400 EFI 5 speed Prestige... the closest I came to living the C6 dream. Driving for the sheer pleasure of piloting such a satisfying driver's low flying machine. The Prestige at 160 kph was doing 4,350 rpm in 5th... at 5,500 it was flat out at 200 kph on a down hill. Max 195 kph on the flat. Now our motorways are 110 kph. My 2CV6 can do 115.... Your C6 seemed to be less than 2,700 rpm in 6th auto at 160 kph.... legal (sigh...) and a top of 235 kph - 10 kph faster than a SM with a 3.0 litre petrol V6 Maserati 5 speed manual and 40 kph faster than my Prestige. A 2500 turbo II Prestige would do 225 kph.....
Wow That's amazing that you imported and drove these beautiful Citroën cars down under ! Thank you for your comment
@@Marcsauto52 years of Citroen addiction. 17 Citroens in that time including three new 2CV6s. 1978, 1982 and 1990 Charlestons.
The C6 3.0 V6 HDI is indeed the pinnacle of Citroen supreme long distance tourers. The best of the DS, CX, XM & SM combined. In Australia it is on my bucket list. Mostly 2.7 litre cars here. My Citroen mechanic drove his from the Citroen Club gathering in Murray Bridge South Australia on a continuous run to Melbourne Victoria and on to Parramatta in Sydney. 1,550 kms in the similar time of 16.5 hours through three states... Difference here is the maximum motorway speed limit of 110 kph which is strictly enforced in Victoria and about 120 in the 110 limit in NSW... The C6 deserved to be far more successful. Grand style, comfort, performance and safety...
I totally agree with you, long life to the Citroën C6 in Australia !
What is the difference between the two diesel fuel choices when you filled up at 6:47 ?
CUPHOLDERS! You forgot to show the cupholders. I got 2.7 version and i loving it. And everyone who doubting to buy one or not ,go ahead and BUY ONE.10 years from now these cars are too expensive and too exlusive. Some 20 000 ever produced ,2024 maybe 10 000 still out there.YOLO!
You are right I forgot to show it in the English version of my présentation, shame on me !
Hello! When my friend and I were hitchhiking from Prague to Barcelona for the first time in 2014, we were once stopped by a gentleman in exactly the same C6. I remember it was something indescribably comfortable, just as you wrote that you were floating above the surface of the road, something amazing! We have a 2022 C4 at home today and it's an amazingly quiet and comfortable car too! Otherwise great video! I saw this concept for the first time and I enjoy it, I love those evenings at the gas station when you have a long trip through Europe ahead of you :) And btw super taste in music, I Shazam 2 songs! :D Thanks for the video!
BTW I was looking because of this video for them and they are on sale now in Prague for even 20 000 up to 25 000 EUR which is crazy! :D
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the concept of this video, I made two more like this through France if you are interested, with interesting songs to Shazam too ;)
Yes.This car is my favourite. ❤
I hope you can do this drive again with the Porsche 911 one day
