When I was a kid I used to go to the video game arcade and listen in awe to this wonderful soundtrack whenever someone was playing in that big scary moving Space Harrier machine. Getting my 80s groove on. Recreating 'Broken Wings' by Mr. Mister (1985) just for fun while I'm in a bit of a creative slump. I've always liked this song. The beats are way better than I remember (although I did increase the kick drum frequency a little for this demo).

No disrespect but at 1,25 speed it sounds more like the original.
Hah no offence taken! I changed the tempo several times during the production before settling on 134bpm, for no other reason than I just liked it at that speed. Props for listening (and your feedback).

Saw them in Pori Jazz 2024 during pouring rain, the best day of my life, well second best but that is another story.
Totally awse. I'm curious about the best day :-) I met them both quite by accident during the early nineties - can't quite remember the exact year. It was such an odd coincidence because I had acquired an E-MU that very morning (Chris Lowe has one) and was having issues getting sound out of it (it didn't come with a manual). So a friend and I went clubbing that evening and as soon as we walked in Chris Lowe was just standing there being completely ignored - nobody knew who the heck he was! I introduced myself while trying not to fan-out the poor guy and instead talked about my E-MU woes and he was super keen to help me troubleshoot it. Neil arrived 10 minutes later with his 'minder' and said they were due back at the hotel. Neil was exceedingly polite although I barely got to talk to him before the 'minder' rushed them both away. Chris was very talkative and wished me luck. I was high from that encounter for weeks after.
