Chicken Pot Pie -
6 TBSP. butter
1/2 large onion, chopped
3 cooked chicken breasts
2 cups mixed frozen vegetables
1 large potato, peeled and chopped
6 TBSP. flour
2 quarts of chicken broth
4 pre-made pie crusts
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onions and cook to soften. Then add the frozen vegetables, cooked chicken, and potato. Cook for about 8 minutes. Then add the flour and stir to combine. Allow this mixture to cook for about a minute. Slowly add the broth, stirring and heating to check consistency. You may not use all of the broth. Allow the filling to thicken. Take the filling off the heat. Let cool completely.
While waiting for the mixture to cool, line your pie plates with your crust. Once cool, add the filling to each pie. Then cover with other crust. Cover each pie with sprayed aluminum foil. Label each one. To bake from frozen, put in a 425 degree oven. Allow to bake for about 30 minutes. Then check the crust. If it is getting too brown, cover with foil. Allow to bake until the center is fully cooked, which can vary depending on your oven.
Taco Bake-
Combine in a 13 x 9 inch pan the following:
2 cups cooked rice
1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 can of drained and rinsed black beans
1/2 large onion
1 - 10 oz. bag of frozen corn
3 cups of cooked and seasoned taco meat
1/2 block of shredded cheddar cheese
Mix all of these ingredients together. Top with additional half block of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover with sprayed aluminum foil. Label. Bake this from frozen at 375 degrees for 20 minutes with the foil on. Check it and when warmed through, take off foil and let the cheese on top get lightly browned. Serve however you would like.

Welcome!
Great job!!
Thanks so much!! I'm glad you're here!
What gets me,people put their spices on,then pour the liquid over?what makes no sense.
Everyone does things so differently! We all gotta find what works for us. 🙂
My future wife's gonna (hopefully) love your channel, gonna archive these for the future, thanks mama.
Thanks for helping me!! Love you!
I love seeing the different ways people do things and achieve similar results. I don’t score the tomatoes beforehand. I will have to try it and see if I notice a difference. I also put my tomatoes in a cold water bath after cooking to speed up the cooling process. Love that we both have methods that work. Thanks for sharing a different method with us. Love your videos!
I used to put mine in a cold water bath...but lately, I forget to get the cold water ready. Haha! Thanks for all your support! 🥰
Thanks for this. Those undivided bulbs are called rounds. You can plant the rounds in the fall and should get large divided bulbs next season! Rounds can be caused by mild winters or planting small cloves. A good axiom to follow with garlic is plant the best and eat the rest!
Thanks so much for commenting! I've never heard of them called rounds. We are for sure going to try that this year!! Appreciate you watching.
My husband loves having chili handy to warm up. Looks delish!
It's the best! Thanks for being here!
Love watching all of your great videos! Glad to see I am not the only one who mixes things with a fork. The rest of my family thinks it is strange when I have a whole drawer full of whisks.
Right?! Love using a fork. Haha! Thanks for being such a great support!!
You can double stack pts. Same pressure time
Yes!! I love double stacking pints!! It was my first year trying it! It's a wonderful, time saving tip.
New subscriber here. I really like that you include the recipe in your link here.
Thanks so much!! I hope it's helpful!
Subscribe? Why? For more of this kind of flawed advice?
I'm curious as to why it's flawed information?? I am honestly curious. 🙂
@@eversonroadoursimplelife7958 ES + WS -> chalk. Instantly.
@@eversonroadoursimplelife7958 ES + soap -> soap scum.
I've never experienced that! Thanks for sharing. Sorry if that sounded like flawed information!!
@@eversonroadoursimplelife7958 WS + ES -> chalk. ES + soap -> soap scum. Reason: science.
So similar to the recipe I use but I don’t have the soap and I use two cups of salt in with your other ingredients. It’s a copy cat of Molly suds. Love your recipe Nay. Love you.
That sounds amazing!! I like learning new things!!
Love you too!!
I have one grown up and grandkids....would love to learn what you are offering
I love to share!! I will share what I can, and hopefully more people can share as well!! I love to learn!

It's never too late to start learning!!
You are a very lucky lady to have Adam helping you in the garden and canning 😊
Don't I know it!! 🥰
You have some gorgeous plants!🪴
Thanks so much!! They needed the rain!
Iowa Zone 5a. Second year growing garlic, so not the expert, but our harvest of 400 plants was pretty good. Some runts, but few singletons. I guess that's what you guys are complaining about. My guess is that your winter wasn't cold enough for the garlic to form cloves. However, it looked like you had a pretty good harvest. Have you noticed any fewer pests on the plants that were surrounded by garlic?
Yeah, that's what we are thinking too!! Very mild winter. We did notice less pests.
@@eversonroadoursimplelife7958 Thanks for the reply. Our garlic grew on the perimeter this year, and there seemed to be fewer pests, but it's hard to nail down cause and effect. Good luck with next year's crop.
꽃이 예뻐요🌼
Hiya cousin ❤ You should be proud of yourself for conquering that hill. I’m proud of you. 🥰 it takes a lot of work when you have something medical happen. I had my gall bladder removed as an emergency and the journey since has been a struggle but God gives me the strength everyday to keep going. Have you ever made basil iced tea? It’s delicious and feels so refreshing and invigorating. 🥰. Love and blessings Nay❤
Thanks a million Heather! It has been a rough road, but worth it!! I'm glad God has our best interests at heart!!
Nice ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
Hi Naomi, I'm new here and wondering... are you concerned about the constitution of the food you put in your freezer changing? I used to be super careful and actually stopped using the freezer all together and then once covid came around I packed it full fearful of a doomsday. Lol. But, just wondering....
That's a great question and concern! I'm not too concerned, only because I have two teenagers who eat things faster than I can get them in the freezer! Haha. I'm never thinking doomsday, but like the idea of having food made so I'm not spending unnecessary money at the store! I don't let food in my freezer longer than six months! Great question and WELCOME! Thanks for being here! 🥰
I have a pancake recipe that is also a waffle recipe if you use a quarter cup butter/oil instead. Jason’s super picky and it’s the recipe I’ve used for the last nearly 17 years 🥰. I’ll send it to you. 🥰
That would be great!! Thanks so much! 🥰
Thanks guys

Some of my garlic didn't separate but as some dried they seperated and others didn't but they still taste great😊
That's great to know! We were hoping it would still be just as delicious!
Thank You very nice. Never thought to dry and grind the bones.
Oh thank you for your long comment! Yes! We love using the dried up bones for our garden!
U have to tell uzz....the name.....howyo putt it there....what you putt before and on and on.... Rain or superior watering?? And whats your soil....black...old...and on and on....
We will be showing all the planting details when we plant more garlic this fall!
I planted music and elephant garlic in Oct. The problem this year is our winter wasn't cold enough to cause the bulbs to clove. Only a handful separated. Its still good to eat, let it cure for a few weeks then peel , slice just like an onion and dehydrate. Powder it. The ones that did clove can be cured and kept for longer.
It was a very warm winter! Thanks so much for the suggestions! 😀
Nay I had no idea y’all had a channel. Mike and I wanna do this eventually
It's so fun!! We started two years ago but weren't very consistent. It's nice for Adam and I to do together!
You and Mike would have a blast if you start one! I will definitely subscribe! :)
Love cilantro
Beautiful green beans! What time of year do you recommend planting green beans for those of us looking to start a garden?
I'm too new at this!! Haha!! Thank you!! And we planted our green beans as soon as the ground was warm enough to work. We did ours at the beginning of May last year.
Cute!!! So excited for this!!!
Ah thanks friend!!!!
The garden looks beautiful! Hope ya'll do great! ;)
Thanks bud!!!! Love you
