my current issue is that when I attach this knife to my hip or to my pocket or even to my boot, the sheath stays on. I want a nice smooth fixed blade where as soon as I grab the handle of it, the holster/sheath stays stationary, and the blade comes out

Its a better fighting knife then survival. I have an original B.G. the fit in the hand is nice. Ok for light camping in a park or fishing. But i am saving up for the gerber strong arm. I just bought a mora at walmart the copanion 19.72. . its nice but its not a 60 buck mora. I do like the look of the ultimate tho and you get extras that you dont with mora. The shape is just so styled after most fighters. I collect and use all kinds. From buck to italy made autos to gas station knives that catch my eye. And iv had some cheap master and m techs thats lasted me years of factory work.
