I owned the sub 124060. I expected 100% perfection on every detail. It is a brand new one and I saw some annoying details fails. The points of the serrated bezel, does not perfectly correspond to the bezel numbers and triangle. I tried to set the triangle perfect in line with the little engraved crown on the edge inside. I failed. It is a half click when it is perfectly. Another annoying thing is that the hands are mirror in the center of the dial. At last, when the crown is closed, the Rolex crown is not perfect in one of 4 lines. I guess every of this details are different on every new 124060. Why not perfect?

Clasp looks like it is sitting far more to the 12 side - have heard many complaints about this off center way it sits on some wrists - what size is your wrist ? Love this reference

my choice is the Rolex GMT coke dial 16710, true traveler watch that can measure 2 time zones at the same time and even reference a 3rd zone with some adjustments.

$300 is a bargain... same watch in NYC is about $475

i wore my Sinn U1 T-SDR when i went to el salvador this year. Definitely not the place to wear Rolex..but my Sinn went under the radar with a silicone black strap.

Sorry but it’s not even close to the best version of the submariner imho. 16610 and 14060 14060m are by far superior. Any real watch enthusiast knows this new sub is more of a homage watch to the actual sub. They stopped making legit submariners in 2010. The ones that have came out since have been horrid. The proportions are way off. The maxi case and lugs are inferior to the older models. Your getting is a better technology w the movement, bracelet, and bezel. If Rolex was smart and made a new watch w the older 16610 type proportions and a ceramic bezel it would sell insanely well.

I love the Air King but I went for the Explorer, great vid and I hope you really enjoy your fabulous watch

I agree 100% with what you said about the BB58. I ended up selling mine because I could never connect with it because the vintage aesthetic was just a little too overdone, IMO. I think the 54 strikes a better balance in that regard.

$18k for a Sub or an OP???? This didn't age well. This guy sounds old enough to know prices of everything fluctuate and eventually come back down once the free money (low interest rates) disappear. People who can't afford high end watches in the slightest put these on their credit card all the time. Vast majority of "buyers."

The only piece that looks even better than this beautiful piece is the qatar version of this watch the limited 5 pieces world wide qatar edition 😍 just an absolute stunning combination when u see it in black and crimson red specs

Have this 126900 and also a Sub 114060 . Enjoy both, but prefer the glidelock clasp of the Tudor BB 58 GMT, find it gives better adjustment. The AirKing is a great watch to have in a collection and wear on rotation.
