Of course, I am very disheartened to have learned these things about Larry as I was quite naive back in the day, however, I didn't necessarily believe that he was some infallible person. But, I did expect more. As I look at my own life, I can't excuse or reason away my own failings to live up to what I expected of myself. There have been sins that I have committed as I too haven't lived 100% pure and holy as most one set the standard of what they deem 'pure and holy.' I do know this, I love God and I love other people whether they be sinners or saints. I know that I have a personal, intimate relationship with God now more at 65 years old than I've ever had. I don't think I was ever intentionally a fake, but I do know that I hid my own sins as I think anyone does or would. It was said of the great man of God, George Muller, that he walked as Enoch walked in the Bible. He walked with God 24/7. There was the proper balance of faith, humility and a true and deep desire to walk in the Spirit every day of his life. As I watch some of Larry's old concerts here online, I can see the torment in his soul. But, I can also hear the true love of God coming out from his voice. He wasn't the devil. He was a tormented soul. Narcissism is a disorder that is hard to understand, hard to accept by others and hard, if not impossible, to change. Thus, it is nearly impossible for any of us to know what to do with such a person. Larry's desire to control others was in fact a lack of trust in God. All sin comes down to a lack of faith and trust in God. Infidelity stems from a lack of faith and trust in God. Stealing is a lack of faith and trust in God. Lying is a lack of faith and trust in truth/God. Manipulation is a darker lack of faith and trust in God. Our key focus is building our faith and trust in God to supply all that we need according to his provision which is more than enough.

I would warn anyone by the Spirit of the Living God to be VERY careful of your judgements & many false assumptions & accusations…”touch not MY anointed & do not harm MY prophet”, says the Lord! You need to read his life story in 3 books called “Not By Might Nor By Power” by Roger Sachs who wrote it as Lonnie’s ghostwriter word for word! Do not let the enemy use you as a curse rather than be a blessing to a blessed servant of God, flawed from brokenness of sexual molestation, physical abuse & rejection but Lonnie strongly rebukes homosexuality as sin & does not & did not live a gay lifestyle. However while “Churchianity” as Lonnie called it & I love that are debating about his sexual orientation, your own hypocrisy is a stench in the nostrils of a REAL God!

You shouldn't party and preach, that's a red flag if their ever was one. Perhaps there were sincere people seeking God, but hypocrisy in leadership is detrimental. Apostle Paul would have put the man out.

No, when Lonnie met Jesus he did not continue to do drugs and homosexuality. If you watch the movie Jesus Revolution, you will see the time period where Lonnie was living a holy lifestyle. He was with Calvary Chapel for a couple years, then he and his wife moved to Florida. Then he divorced his wife, and that’s when he gave into a life of sin. Lonnie was molested in his childhood, and because of this abuse he was tempted by sexual addiction. He decided to give in to sin and live a life walking in the flesh rather than the spirit. He gave in to the temptations of substance abuse and a double life of hypocrisy. After many years of living like this he came down with AIDS. Lonnie did repent at the end of his life. Before he died he confessed his sins and gave his life back to God. He was trusting in the Lord when he was in hospice care. Greg Laurie and several other brothers visited him there and prayed with him. They have shared publicly that they knew he was right with God when he died. So many people have condemned Lonnie and said that he’s in hell - but even Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery. Jesus told her to go and sin no more. We should be like Jesus, and follow his example. I’m thankful for the mercy of God! Read 1 John: When we confess our sin, he is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness! Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus! 💙🙏🏽💙🌻

Satan used Frisbee, whom was a Holy See CIA operative and freemason, to deceive so many. Why he taught that being lukewarm and living a life of sin by being a homosexual and doing drugs was ok by God. He preached a fake gospel, a fake Jesus,.. he encouraged people to believe that true repentance to Jesus for their sins, and that discontinuing on loving and doing the same things as the world, wasn't needed to be saved. He made true repentant salvation and obeying God out to mean nothing, a joke. People without the Holy Spirit and without bible knowledge erroneously attributed the devils workings and feelings of eastern mysticism, that kundalini spirit, that he and his movement brought in to their CIA fronted organization named 'the living room', and Frisbee's fake healing, to the Holy Spirit. CIA does and has always used actors, jesters, clowns, and harlequins to play out their acts, their agenda's. Look.. how this production was put out by 'Jester Media'.. that's not by mistake. Frisbee's role was to preach that Jesus died basically for nothing, because sinning is okay, that being gay, partying and doing psychedelic's and smoking pot is accepted by God, that ecumenism is accepted, and the acceptance and inviting in and worship of the eastern mysticism kundalini spirit is ok. Babylonian Rome used Frisbee to make way for their kunalini spirit filled charismatic churches movement with all it's demonic slain in the spirit, babbling in tongues etc , and buried him in their Crystal Cathedral..aka; 'Christ Cathedral, the seat of the Diocese of Orange'. Now understand, if Frisbee was a true born again man of God, a real Christian {pagan catholics are not Christians}, they would not honor him burying him there.. as Roma has always and is still genociding true born again Christians {remember the Waldensians?!} that obey God. The evidence/receipts that prove Frisbee's CIA work have all been outed for the public to read, as satan cannot keep anything hidden, God declared that we have free will and satan fears God and obey's by revealing all information in order for us to make our choices on which road we will choose.

Obviously Lonnie didn't understand about the anointing on him for preaching and the anointing within that God cares more about. We've seen many Christian leaders who have fallen into sin because of this misunderstanding. SIn is NOT ok,even if you think GOd is still using you-it must be judged ,in life or in death. Benny Hinn wrote a book on the two anointings-a must read for all in the ministry. With this knowledge,Satan can't deceive.

All I know is that out of his mouth I heard the truth of God and the gospel for the first time. Jesus was alive, He died for a reason, He was actually ALIVE! Here I was at 16 wishing I could know God but knowing oh so sadly there was no way to know Him and POW! the new birth forever His. The rest doesn't matter...

So, I hear this interviewer (approx 2:15 mark) say it was hard for him to fathom Frisbee partying all night Saturday, and so alive and anointed Sunday morning. Yeah, good question. Anyone? Help me understand this.

My 2 pennies- . What God had in mind for Lonnie never changed . It was before he was Birthed. ( Roman's 11:29) God doesn't sit down and say " let's reconsider this". He gave Lonnie a gift and calling. If what he was participating in was accurate, Satan gained inroads in his life and Took Him OUT. ( Roman's 6: 15-16) Could happen to You, could happen to Me.All God gives is a Shot to overcome.

Maybe the partying was okay as long as it didn't harm other people? We judge the "party lifestyle" -- and rightly so when it leads to addiction and harm -- but in and of itself, it is not evil when done in moderation and love. Jesus hung out with "drunkards" and wine drinkers.

Proverbs 25:28 comes to mind as I watch this. Personally, I would rather stay blind than see and continue to disobey God. When you're blind, you're dependent on Him for your vision. But once your eyes have been opened, the devil likes to distort your insight, and it is a constant battle to keep your mind stayed on Him. This walk is not for the faint of heart.

Contrast him with someone like Keith Green. Keith was every bit the radical, singer-songwriter Larry was, and God also used him in a powerful and mighty way. But Keith Green practiced what he preached, and in fact, was so mindful of doing everything in ministry for the right reason--to the extent that he didn't want to accept profits from live concerts. He wanted to exalt Christ above money

I agree with you totally. Larry was dealing with narcissism, a disorder that is hard to understand, accept, or change. Larry was a tormented soul. You can see it. He needed (as all narcissists do) healing in his mind and soul. I was at ORU when Keith was there and a revival was sparked by his presence and ministry there. He was giving away his 'No Compromise' album. Keith was sincere. There is no doubt about that. I do think that there has to be balance in our lives regarding, to one extreme 'humility' and a hunger for God and, the other side, knowing that you have God in your soul and the power that comes with that. Considering that Keith had only been a believer for 8 years when he went to heaven, he helped us all come back to a place of repentance and true humility before God. He allowed God to use him in a great way. What we all need (in my opinion) is trust and faith in God. We likewise need to develop to the point of having that 24/7. Repentance begins that process. Faith empowers us along the way. Keith certainly demonstrated both.

Larry was a leader who did not care what others though or he would not have been the father of Christan Rock. When a leader lacks humility and accountability and does not care what people think about them they can get out of control.
