victoriamansion.org/
Victoria Mansion is a much-loved Portland landmark, but its significance extends far beyond Maine. Distinguished for its architecture and its extraordinary original interiors, it is among the most important historic homes of the nineteenth century anywhere in the nation. As an organization, our mission is to conserve, maintain, and restore this one-of-a-kind property and share its history with the public.

No offense, but the filming is terrible.
Wow, so interesting, excellent!
So does Victoria mansion have a secret? 🤣
It is a bit confusing...as Victoria Mansion is but the name. It is not a Victorian, as all I can see is Italianate architecture. But why not call it the Morse Mansion? I am beginning to believe that somewhere along the way, someone was very confused. Better write the city council.
Great job listening to you makes me want to bust Mai. and your this “Beautiful” home!
I can see you giving tour’s in Heaven, I pray you get saved!
Your heart is in this home, you are in the perfect place, this is your calling,in my humble opinion. You will love Heaven with it’s gold streets. Salvation is a free gift but you have to accept it. Goggle the Romans Road from the Bible KJV ,if you have any questions call a Baptist Preacher.I hope to see you in Heaven one day I have a lot of questions for you in your area.
Thank you for saving the history!
So five children had no bedroom?
My home city, I love this beautiful home, I now live in Cincinnati Ohio
Truly lovely and breathtaking! Where did the children sleep i wonder? Maybe the 3rd floor. That staircase to the tower! Wow that is where i would love to spend time looking out over the town.
I'm impressed with the house and with Mr. Toms vocabulary and descriptors of the house he used. This was a fascinating tour. Thank you!
Great.... very enjoyable viewing thankyou.
Fantastic !!! Thank you very much !!!
Thank you for making this video. It was so comprehensive! I loved it.
Thank you. This was lovely, but I can't help be disappointed that you didn't show us the kitchen. I love seeing old kitchens.
I learned all abt them in my feild trip to there today!!
Fantastic video, we cannot thank you enough for sharing this historical information. God bless 🙏
This is so beautiful haunted Manson,I love IT😉I d like so much to live here
It's such a phantastic video and narration. A bit sad that it'snot uploaded in better quality. The details sadly get lost a bit. But again: Great video!
Thank you for a nice tour and wonderful stories of this home and it’s occupants. I am so HAPPY, that this glorious home was not demolished for a gas station to be built. This happen way to often here in America, they demolish to many BEAUTIFUL homes with such craftsmanship and history.. it makes me sick that so many do not care about preserving these spectacular homes. ❤️
Me ha gustado mucho el video. Una edificación muy interesante y muy bien explicado en el tour de visita. Enhorabuena por la labor de preservación y recuperación que están haciendo. Soy un fan de la epica victoriana. Saludos desde España.
Long winded and boring
Are those angels or cherubs?
Awesome video! Very informative. I hope you release more videos Sir.
Amazing! I watched the whole thing! What a wonderful tour 😍! Thank you!
Absolutely amazing. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the history of the home and the people that live there. The home is very beautiful . I love every minute of this video.
What a fantastic snapshot in time!! Love it
They almost let this place go to ruin. Its hard to believe but I cant get over this. It would be a crime to not fix this home and restored this house no matter what. PORTLAND get it together and dont let this home go to hell. FIND THE MONEY NO MATTER WHAT
Well done! Very interesting. Thank you.
Beautiful mansion but the videographer is a total amateur out of focus, no understanding of light, very amateur. Retake the whole video it’s worth it the house is beautiful.
I believe and thank the Lord GOD in heaven above for orchestrating the preservation of these gilded mansions organizations and chosen individuals to preserve and teach this generation of these wonderful mansions. May the Lord bless you and continue to teach and preserve this classic American Historic wonder thank You and God the restorations
Cool video, i love big old houses. Also, we could be related.
Thanks for your comment, Jeff. Would love to chat about your shared name. My email is meusert63@gmail.com if you want to visit by phone or zoom.
All this for a "summer cottage".
A beautiful home..... Filmed on a toaster.
5'4 is very short for a man.
Napoleon was not short. He was 5'7" which was an average height during that time. I would think the bust would have been there because he supported Napoleon's French invasion of America.
Absolutely great tour of a priceless gorgeous house. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic!!
Wow. Your command over the language and the way you present... wonderful, Sir.
Mrs. Morse was a plain Jane.
Very interesting.
Lovely. Liked & subscribed.
A shame so much detail is lost with the poor quality 480p resolution and dim lighting. Simply using a modest Sony mirrorless camera with low light sensitivity and image stabilization would have greatly improved the presentation.
This is TRULY incredible! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this! I’m just blown away! Thank you!
I have seen a lot more homes that could use the free money over that parlor room.
What is the guides name?
Nice to see a carpet from Glasgow (it's pronounced Glas-go, I'm Glaswegian 😊) wonderful tour
Just watched this fantastic documentary. Well done Victoria House and a huge thank you sir for your excellent guided tour. I am so grateful everything is not being torn down or vandalized in our country.
