After trying different ways to grow avocado plants , I found out the best way to get the seeds to crack.. its the constant soaking and drying that causes them to split , although my other video does work , the crack rate of my new method is a lot higher .. almost 100% crack rate . so I had to share . enjoy. please leave a like or better still. a like and a subscribe :). thanks !!

How to grow avocado plants from seed. Be patient they will open, some take weeks , some take months . They are all destined to grow. when they shoot they are very delicate so its best not to move them around in their early stages.. The stones i grow are just ordinary supermarket avocados. Grown in cheshire, united kingdom. when they are small plants don't leave them outside in winter , they won...

Земля повинна бути завжди волога краще для пробудження коріння, і просинається далеко не всі кістки
The only method that actually works for me is wrap the seed in a moist paper towel and put in a ziplock and put it in a cupboard. It will germinate in 3-6 weeks
Isn’t Avocado true seed that unlikely anyone will get the same delicious avocado from the original??? That’s why nursery uses grafting to produce the avocado.
Hi Joe. How long does it take before growing avocadoes? I have been waiting for 5years and still waiting.
Thank you. I was worried because my seed cracked inside the avocado 🥑.. but I guess that is good.
А с остальными что?
Very profound 😍😍😍😍
I've read dozens of instructions and had varying, mostly disappointing success. Your video is very clear and uncomplicated. I will give it a go. Keep up the good work.

They are beautiful =) Thanks for sharing!
What are you spreading plz?
Hi Joe, thank you for your videos. I have 3 avocado plants growing around 9-12 months old, growing great using your previous method of soaking seeds. But using the new method the seeds crack quicker. But I haven’t got one to grow a stem. Generally how long does it take for the stem to appear. I also noticed that I don’t usually have a root growing after the pits crack. Sometimes the pits will crack into completely with no signs of a root. Sorry for the long comment, your thoughts please, thanks
Hi greg , if they have cracked put them in a pot of soil on a window ledge inside, water them well once every 2-3 days. That is all you can do. Every seed is different , ive had stems after 1 month , other times 2-3 month . I get better results watering them with spring water. Hope that helps . 'Come on stems , you can do it! ' ... tell them you want them to flourish...
@@avocadojoe6739 thank you for the advice and encouraging words
Please Somebody Help me.. Is this background music no copyright??
This is a waste of time. Guys just stick to the basics, get the pit(stone) stick into some fast draining soil and your done. No bullshit of cleaning, toothpicks, avocado seed boat crap. You think that’s what happens in the wild?
Your absolutely right , there is no need for any of this in nature, but this is the uk where the temp is too cold for avos , so we have to grow indoors , i could put the stone in soil and water it but after a few weeks it gets over run with flys , rot and smells bad too . This is a method that keeps the stone clean through germination into growth .
@@avocadojoe6739 Well that’s fine by me, but you might want to say that in the video or video title. Growing avocado the simple method is literally get the pit and put it in soil.
Thank you very much I am looking to buy 100 three years Lula, Lila and Fantastic Avocado trees Kindly advice Hassansaiidi@gmail.com
Doesn´t seem that simple to me, not like that Mike Pence wobble doll near the end of video. Thanks.

My grafting avocado tree has flowered
Thank you for your easy, simple, no fluff videos. I have tried several other methods to grow avocados that haven’t worked for me. I now have 4 plants thriving and doing great. Quick question when do you transplant from their 1st container in dirt to a bigger container and what’s the best method to transplant, thanks
As a norm, easiest way, put the seed directly /dump into the pot of soil👍🏻 yet wait until it sprout❗️🙏💝❤️
I have one that is about five inches tall and it’s been that way for two months now, can someone tell me why it seems to have stop growing? The plant is seven months old now!
2020 Just saw your video, I have thrown mine in water. I thought what the hell! anyhow having had unsuccessful attempts with the toothpick method, thought maybe rolling around in water Why Not? Near the window, but not in direct sunlight so I almost got it right, little shoots on the pointy end. Seeing your video has made my day. I shall plant them now. Thanks. So glad I found you.
you shouldn't plant avocado pits in the same pot because their roots will be fighting for space
When i sprayed my leaves with house water it started to ruin them, does that mean only rain water and distilled water can be sprayed on the leaves?
I use spring water , thx
Thank you for this video! Is there a specific soil I should use?
🥑🙂🌿🌴🌲🎶🐛🦋🐞🌱🐝🦗🌻ThankYou :)
I followed your guide and it worked! I have a very tall baby one but, when should I transfer it to a bigger pot?
I named mine "Avo". Ya know, as in Avocado. She's a late bloomer. Took 3 months to sprout her stem but now she's growing like a weed!
That is the smallest avocado i've seen.
Nice video I'm cracking another week and I will be ready to soil
My dog bite the main root and now the roots are growing insanely crazy but I put it in soil anyways, I hope I go luck
I actually planted two avocado stones straight into the ground in my backyard in Montebello, CA. However, I'm not having the same luck in Oceanside, CA
I grew an avocado once and a sweet potato. Both were lovely. But I kept my avocado seed in water with toothpicks on both sides of the seed to keep the tip above water. It grew to be quite large.
It worked!! Wish i could post a pic
POP!!!
