Was you able to walk across the chain bridge
The Chain Bridge is under renovation right now. It is closed for public. Reconstruction will finish at the end of next summer. As far as we know it will open for pedestrians at this December :)

The downtown Christmas lights are on and both Christmas Markets are also open (at Vörösmarty Square and St Stephens Square). Hope you will enjoy!
