    Actually in a March 1968 interview with Jann Wenner, the founder of Rolling Stone, Jimi cited Holly as one of his idols and musical influences - the only white guy other than Eddie Cochran. In fact in the bio on Hendrix' official website, Holly is mentioned. Also, Holly may have LOOKED old when he was alive (probably because of the glasses), but his music did not. Compare songs like Well Alright, Reminiscing, Words of Love, Everyday, things that had some experimentation and used different instruments and didn't sound like typical 50's stuff like the Diamonds or even Elvis.

    Buddy Holly was never expanding his mind. Either Joe Jimi Hendrix he was very very experienced. If you know what I mean, have you ever been experienced well I have.❤ I expanded my mind when I was a teenager in the 80s. I had some of the best experiences in my life little did I know I was treating myself from all the childhood trauma I was actually treating myself all those fun nights of laughing all night long until you can’t breathe or explode with happiness and you finally realize you’re not alone you’re a part of everything in this universe yeah see I grew up. My dad took me to a lot of Grateful Dead shows when I was a kid a lot of rock concerts. Just a lot of concerts in general. My parents divorced when I was very young when I was 10 my mom walked out and took my younger sister one day they’re gone that was hard to sing that walls. The size of the Earth no one was ever gonna hurt me again yeah that didn’t work out too well for me. I think that’s why my dad took me to concerts or just didn’t have nowhere to take us me and my brother we saw so many concerts. I actually forgot about the trauma and the reason why my mom walked out. I remembered it 42 years later I cannot believe my mind block that night but having an open wound42 years later wow it’s intense. Yeah, I’m still trying to figure this one out.

    But bro, you gotta look at the type of society. No one was experienced back then think about it. The American people started experimenting with LSD during the 60s and started trying to figure out their reality so a lot changed in those 10 years dude.

    Inoki was a Catch wrestler, who was there to submit Ali. It was a classic wrestler vs boxer match-up. But Ali's team threatened to withdraw from the match last minute, unless Inoki agrees to a rule change that doesn't allow any stand-up wrestling. Only mat wrestling allowed. That's why you see Inoki constantly on his butt.

  • @kallepikku4991
    @kallepikku4991 7 місяців тому

    2:36 "Did you see when Muhammad Ali was doing exhibition with that kickboxer?" Poor Inoki, went there to show the world his wrestling skills, end up being mislabelled as kickboxer. 🤣 Coz the match rules didn't allow him to grab Ali while standing.

    I used to train boxers in mma also. The boxers won every mma match in under 30 seconds because I trained the boxers how to avoid kicks & takedowns & stay engaged to punch. The concept is simple. As soon as they reach out to grab you, hit him on the chin. If they kick, side step backwards if they dive for an ankle, pivot. Boxing is great due to its lack of tools (two hands). Those guys are not the greatest all round fighters in the world (how could they be with such limited weapons). To be great in boxing today , with such an extensive history of greats, you have to be something special (finding that needle in a haystack advantage is so small). Boxing reigns supreme because of its history and its limitations of combat. Kickboxing/Muay Thai will achieve the same heights as the well runs dry and so will MMA. It’s all just a matter of time until they all cash in and we’re starting to see that shift now! If you want to know the projected future of MMA, just look at the history of boxing!
