A day in the life of a Electric Motorcycle innovator, building a buddy charging cable

Buddy charging is not a concept widely known within the electric motorcycle community. If we changed the name to gas siphon, you begin to understand the concept. In this video, we create our own electric version of a siphon. Note: The specific chargers used are known as Diginow Chargers. The stock charger Zero motorcycles offer are not designed for this capability. Music Credits: Boom Bap Music...

Zero Motorcycle - How to install a top case mount and case
Переглядів 3,3 тис.5 років тому
I highly recommend anyone considering storage to get a top case. I personally use a Zero top case mount with a Givi Case. Having the item installed yourself will save you a lot of money. Its simple to do and easy to install. Music: Buddha - Konteks
Hard as a rock. I've bought one and sent it back before starting my motorcycle.
The only way I’d ever buy another seat for s day f you order from t try it out and if it’s a good seat you buy it. I spent close to 5 grand in n so called best seats to find out over price garbage
Incredibly impressive Devil Dog! I’m happy with my Mustang Touring seat. Now I definitely want a Corbin!
Thanks for the touring video!
is there a fuse buit in for this connection? How many amps is this good for?
Hooker shoes. Looks good but hurts your feet
I've been using Corbin for years. They make the best seats, in my opinion.
I just ordered another Corbin seat yesterday, my third one! This newest one is for a Honda F6B. I love the bucket design and the firmness of the memory foam. In my opinion, they are quality seats. The material is amazing. I've had my last seat for my Yamaha Raider for 16 years and no signs of wear yet. Very comfortable.
Someone really needs a shotgun mic upgrade. Otherwise good video
Corbin is probably the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with., Promised me delivery in 4-6 weeks....actually took just a couple days under SEVEN MONTHS. However....only took them 12 minutes after placing the order to charge my credit card. (yes, I timed it) When I asked why they did not meet their promise.....'Oh, you should have known we wouldn't do it that fast'. (Apparently, it is MY fault that they lied to me....and what's more, I should have known it was my fault instead of bothering them with all these silly questions about it. Yes...I was actually told that) Every time I called to check on my order....I was given one lie after another. Many times, the lie they gave me on this call was contradicted on the next by another lie. When they DID ship, they gave no warning, no notification, no tracking information. It just showed up on my doorstep one day (seven months later) THEN...after waiting and putting up with their lies for SEVEN MONTHS......when I did receive it, they did not get one colour specified in the order correct. NOT ONE. Enjoy your $2k, Boys. You'll not see another red cent of my money.
BTW......since then, I have purchased three other aftermarket seats for my other bikes. Want to know where I purchased? Not from Corbin!
I ordered a leather Corbin King & queen saddle w/Rider backrest in 1996 for approx. $650. That was the best feeling, all day riding, feel better after I got than when I'd gotten on it seat that I've ever experienced. For me, it was perfect.
sweet now i can connect to cig lighter for radar detector and tender-plug to usb down my motor cooling fan, my 2014 SR motor get hot on 99F*+ days
My Corbin is separating at the seams…
Electric bikes suck. They have no range. They are incredibly expensive and are nearly unusable.
Just ordered one. Said it would take 5 weeks. I got the shipping notification 2 days later. Custom hand built and I get it nearly next day!
to install auxiliary lights, would you use that SAE connector?
Is the stitching waterproof?
I love their seats. Some people say they are too hard but they wear in well. Wish you had fixed your focus on the head shots. Was very off putting but good video overall.
That’s extra Sloppy. If you want a quality seat, you spend the money right the first time and get a Fitted Seat made from Voodoo Saddles. 100% Natural Leather, Carbon Fiber base, Custom Fitted, and a 5 year warranty. Let Corbin chew on that for a while. No fiberglass to eat up your paint, no tiny cheap rivets, no cheap vinyl.
Lisa is still there!!! I was there yesterday 12/13/2023 for the ride in. Great experience and an amazing seat!
Just bought a seat for my sv650 and it took about 2.5 weeks to arrive. I paid $725.00 total including shipping. The workmanship is beautiful and the seat is 100 times better than a stock seat. I am very happy with it. Yes it's expensive but compared to other seats on the market it well worth the cost. Old saying holds true. You get what you pay for. Thank you Corbin for a wonderful seat,my ride is so much better than before...!!
Hello, good video, but please watch your use of words in their proper case. For example never use "were" for "we're" and "theirs" for "there's" and "alot" for " a lot" and "you're" for "your." Just trying to help many online that either have forgotten their English or were asleep in their English class back in school. I have seen other channels online where I have pointed out these same mistakes. I grew up in a Spanish family where Spanish was spoken all the time and when I entered the Catholic private school system I was lost in communicating and failed all my subjects. The school system of New York City wanted to put me away in a mental asylum. I was only 8 years old then. My parents refused to do that. With good teachers who cared and talked with my parents I was enrolled in summer school for several years. I missed out of summer fun, but sometime in my Sophomore year in high school it all came together and I began to pass all my subjects with good grades. I even began to write short stories in English to my own surprise. Today I am 64 years old and have in the past written letters to heads of state pointing out their greed and corruption. All is possible in one's life, I am proof of that. I am always grateful to the excellent parents I had and to Almighty God. I want to give back and so as a nurse I try to help as many as possible and also here online.
Did you replace it with something better? Or did you have another part that was better? Or a better break light?
nice video! do you know what is max amper in that SAE connector? I want to connect heated grips, which draw approx 6A i believe. cheers.
just found my answer on unofficial zero manual, Both plugs are fed power from the same 10-amp circuit.
I’ve always shied away due to the higher price but watching this video has kind of changed my mind. I’m mean I’ve always known they made quality seats. Seeing what goes into making one and individually custom options definitely helps to justify the price. Still have not on one yet but my Oem gen 3 SV650 seat is sucks
the seat for the 218 Goldwing I bought was horrible, no better than the bad stock seat. No help from Corbin after spending $1600. Yes I did the 2K mile break-in, but no relief.
Is crash guard necessary for zero? There are not a lot of choice for DSR x
Is there anything that can be done about the tabs sticking out? I just noticed this and its me nuts!
Great seats. Some look comfy than others, each to their own ay.. big seats like these inc oem ones tend to hold rain and “puddle” so if someone could make a seat that disperses the rain water before it “puddles” would be onto something…great insight into Corbin..👍
how bad is your posture for your shoulders to be in focus, but not your face?!?!?!?!
where to buy the console for cheap or aftermarket in EU?
finally the video I was looking for
Thanks! Any video how to mount top rack console?
I had a Corbin seat on our fjr and it fit me like a glove but even after 10k miles it didn't feel any different from day one. Was still hard as a brick! If it was just slightly softer I think it would've been an excellent seat. This is no exaggeration, I could push down on the foam very firmly and it would barely compress so needless to say when your weight is spread out across the seat it doesn't seem to give at all. I truly believe a board would be just as soft. I did notice the girl mentioned they offer a softer foam, maybe that's the way to go?
I had the exact same experience with my 2014 FJR that had a Corbin seat on it when I purchased it. I kept switching back and forth between it and the stock seat and couldn't tell much difference. The Corbin did look better but I was not impressed. I now own a BMW K1600GTL and the stock seat is terrible! Tried an Air Hawk and NO! (review is on my channel). Have a new Butt Buster on the way. I just won't spend a thousand on a seat only to find out it's not much better than stock.
For a manufacturer to allow people to view the manufacturing process means they have supreme confidence in there work. Kellogs no longer allows tour their production facilities. Wonder what they hiding?
I've had the Corbin Wall seat on my Fatboy for just over a year now, and it is by far the best seat i've ever owned.
Corbin made a seat for me several years ago for a Honda Rebel 1100 and it was wonderful.
Their customer service when they screw something up is horrible though. Their QC seems terrible too. I had their seat on a Kawasaki Vulcan S and the front mounts were visibly uneven in their placement in the seat pan. My seat sat crooked on the bike and had movement because of it. The seat also wore the paint off my fuel tank. I reached out to Corbin after getting the seat and seeing how bad the fitment was. They had me send a video in but offered nothing else. Their answer to their poor manufacturing was “our seats are made to the best standards, idk what else you want from us”. So I paid $600 for a seat that fit poorly and damaged my bike and got customer service of “sorry, sucks to be you”.
For myself, an excellent seat is great and I've had two corbins on different Harley's. But having bigger fuel tanks on Harley's, Goldwings, and BMW's you need an ace in the hole as you fly by one gas station after another. Installing highway pegs usually off the roll bars or newer inventions that use various bolts from the frame, engine etc are fantastic. Putting your feet forward and pushing yourself backward onto the rear wall of the seat you can suspend your butt from 5- 15 minutes and get total relief and get the circulation to that weary ASS you've been thrashing all day.
I have a Corbin sestthat I got back in 1999 for my Honda VFR Interceptor. I now have 130,000 kms on my bike. The Corbin seat still works great. It is comfortable for an all day ride. I will be putting one on my HD FLHT, so I can ride across Canada and back to Alberta this summer. I highly recommend Corbin, they are very well made. Although they seem quite hard they are so comfortable on long rides. Get one and enjoy your motorcycle to the fullest.
Just ordered a corbin seat for my kawasaki H2 sx se. Takes a while before it arrives though seeing as it needs to be shipped out to the Netherlands but I can't wait to test the results.
Please boxer 100cc

Hey great video and Lisa did a great job answering some technical questions! And you got to hang out with the big man himself Greg. I work with HD and LiveWire on their prototype seating and stylings. It’s interesting that Corbin only uses their comfort foam now and no layers of other high resiliency foam. Part of the issue of comfort for OEM seating is the shape of motorcycle seats. I understand why they don’t do gel inserts but a product that is fantastic is Pudgie GelFoam

My Corbin will arrive on Thursday!! Can't wait

Thanks for sharing. Just what my DSR needs .
I just ordered my first Corbin seat, and. I’m so excited although it’s going to be a little over a month before. I get it.
She said we make softer seats usually for women.......GOTTTTEM
