I filmed around 15 planes this day, attempting to keep the plane in the frame as they passed overhead. This was one of the better videos :)

It was an incredible sight to watch this Blue Heron glide in for a graceful landing. It wasn't until I slowed down the footage that I noticed the delicate moment when its wingtip touched the water just before landing.

It was such a surprise when I realized exactly what I was seeing slinking around the rock on the river bank. In 5 years of regular walks along this trail, I have seen a mink only twice!

For many, many years I've been waiting to see the Aurora Borealis. On May 10, 2024, this dream finally came true. the bonus was that I didn't even have to travel far to see it!

I must have hiked this stretch of the Central Valley Greenway a thousand times and wanted to share with everyone!

It always saddens me when there are losses in a family group.

I was excited to sit down and watch this squirrel as he approached to see if I had any food. I ended up capturing his reaction as another squirrel chased him out of its territory!

After watching this video a couple of times, I realized it was full of duck butts! I couldn’t help but start counting them as I watched. That gave me the idea to share the count with everyone here!

This little caterpillar immediately grabbed my attention, just had to get him on film!

I love this time of year when the goslings and ducklings start hatching. It's amazing to see them everywhere in the parks and watch as they grow and mature into adults.

I've often come across wildlife while hiking or walking in our local parks and along the trails. Like most people, I always have my phone ready to capture the moment. Here's one of the first videos I ever filmed.
