"Overflow" and "Good Things Go" were co-written by Jake Torrey (Grammy-nominated writer for 21 Pilots and more). This may explain why they have a different grove with hypnotic beautiful vocals. My two favorites on the album.

In my opinion, Overflow is definitely my least favourite song on the album. it gives me Travis Scott vibes, and I agree entirely with Gibby "I can't help but hear Everything In Its Right Place' which is definitely not a bad thing, but the rest of the song is not to my taste.

You are dancing around the issue, overlooking Emily's affiliation is diagusting. Its not about moving on, the real fans would always return and listen she is in a cult known exploiting children sexually, exploiting adults financially, and a host of abuses. It is as simple as shopping for a singer who upholds Chester's memory inna way that doesnt spit in the face of mental illness and survivors. We love the band, she is not ok. Stop dancing around it. That is bullshit, I lost someone to suicide too. I am not bringing abusers around on a platform where kids are listening.

It's a good balance from a gender point of view, but this might be the whitest festival line-up I've ever seen.

Great reaction piece, Download has such variety that it matches my eclectic music taste perfectly. There's always someone I want to watch on and next year seems no different.

I was skeptical of Emily, still am. She's a proper singer, but her background and personality are not in line with what Chester stood for. But Mike, Brad, Dave, and Joe deserve happiness. And because of that, I have decided to support them.

I dunno. 10 times better than 2024, but still not even half as good as any other year. Glad to see new bands getting a chance. And if I was going, I would happily see all 3 headliners. But none of them wow me. In fact i'm happy for Sleep Token, but I think they need a bit more experience under their belt. Now if Bullet and Sleep Token were swapped, then that would make much more sense to me.

Had fun watching the review, I also had an intense day at the fest and watched quite a few of the same bands! But most of all, I enjoyed the reveal that Pint On Head Man, who we also spotted, didn't actually have it glued on!!

These "fans" saying this new era doesn't sound kike LP are not true LP fans. The only people who get to decide what LP sounds like, are the members of LP. They decide the sound, the direction of the band. Not us, them and nobody else. I'm sick of those comments. They deserve to make music again. They deserve to be able to play their catalog of music. This was Mike's band first. People forget Chester was the last member to join. Chester was detrimental to the bands success and there will never be another like him. But hard take here, he was selfish in his actions. It took away everything from the rest of the band as well. Their friendship, their dreams, their success, their livelihood, their career. They have every right to continue as LP and play old songs and create new music. So excited to have a new era of LP. I grew up with the OG, now I get something fresh years later.

I was excited about the return, until I saw the things this girl is/was involved in, first Scientology (a bunch of idiots who claim that depression, anxiety and any mental problem do not exist), the japa guy is a hypocrite for putting her in the band, he says: fuck depression, the songs were made with the things Chester went through in life, there is a video where he mentions this and in the end the one singing now is a person who does not believe in problems, she is also a hypocrite. I saw a lot of people criticizing his children (even telling his son to kill himself, seriously? Ridiculous) his mother and his sister Tobi (a few months after his death she was the first to say that the japa guy is not a real friend, citing the beginning of Halfway Right, that was the business vision that passed on in the band, that he treated her brother badly and Chester's ex-wife confirmed it). The bad thing about showing a different view is putting up with his spoiled fanboys cursing, when they preach love and say they know how to accept different opinions. And I believe in Jaime, after all, Mike's fans have already written in my comments that I deserve to be shot in the eye (how sweet) There are few people who do some work for love, but of course money is involved, in the case of the Japa, it is more $ than love. And for those crazy people who say that the problem is that women sing, they are wrong, there are many women who sing much better than her.
