I am so happy to have found this video. I am now in the midst of interviewing for residency programs and I am feeling the same way. I try to stay positive, but I keep doubting myself and feeling fear. Hearing these words has uplifted me to keep going and focus on God's word. Thank you, Dr. Kay!!!

As a foreign trained non traditional resident applicant hoping to get called up for oncology pharmacy resident soon, this was just what I needed to hear to get my confidence pumped up. I have put in the work and hours for the past 10 months, attended series of oncology conferences, webinars, completed series certifications and continuous education credit all in oncology but I still find my confidence down. I am not sure where I would like to apply to for residency and I dont want to complete my residency program in the State where I am doing my APPEs.

I feel so lost in this residency journey. I am now a 4th year student about to start APPEs in may. What steps do I have to take now if I plan on applying for residency? I don't want to miss my opportunity now. Should I join ASHP? Is it mandatory to join before applying for APPEs? Did you join while in school? Please help.

Listening to your story reminds me that God is greater than the Match process, He selected the interviews I had for a reason.
