Dark Fantasy Castle - BLENDER 3D Environment
here's a new personal project, I challenged myself to do it in a few hours only, from start to finish.
I was inspired by the Disney Introduction and wanted to make it into a Dark Fantasy/Academia style to it.
Let me know if you're interested for a breakdown

How I made these Column Rocks in Blender - Geometry Nodes
Переглядів 5 тис.2 місяці тому
It's been quite a while I haven't posted, I have a billions things I'd love to talk about, but I'm always scared to talk about stuff I don't know and end up on the wrong side of the Dunning Kruger curve. I like when I'm pretty confident in a topic and I feel like I'm legitimate to talk about it, which, for most Blender people out there making tutorials and youtube videos, doesn't seem to be the...

Again Directed by Maxime Gérardin, Timothée Demarchi, Jules Rohrer, Olivier Notot and helped by Jean-Baptiste Demouge for some aspects of the recording. Everybody wrote the story. We wanted to create a short but emotional and meaningful film. Music was our main inspiration, that's why we decided to use music over sound effects. I wanted to talk about negative repetition, routine, bad time consu...

This is sick man! I am follow along, but I am stuck on the group node for the ‘Displacement Along Normals’ at 7:57… And when I download the blend file I can't seem to open it. How would I make one of those myself?

    • @maximusgerardin

@@loesvandam3277 Hey man! thank you so much! I just realised I uploaded the .blend1 file which might not work for everyone, I will upload the correct file soon. For this displacement node you basically need a set position node, and offset by the normal, so plug a normal node into the offset, and in between a Vector Math node set to "scale" or "multiply", then whatever you plug in it will be your height information
