2019 Bad Boy Revolt
Переглядів 10 тис.5 років тому
An impromptu video I put together going over the basics of my new Revolt.
1990 4runner first drive with Spartan Locker

1990 4Runner, V6, 4.56 gear, 31" A/T tires. Lots of tire scrubbing, surprisingly i have yet to hear the ratcheting noise associated with these lockers.

Pull. The. Dipstick.
How does it cut?
Tires look like would tear grass right out
Thanks
Thank you. I have one and love it . However it does have its issues.
Gotta trim that tire plug. Should be cut flush with a razor. Don't want to yank it out. I'd screw down the foot pad. Maybe support the wiring bundle under the ignition switch with a strategically placed zip tie so it doesn't rattle out.
If you run your mower for about 5 min. before you change the oil, and open up the dip stick, the oil will drain in 3 minutes.
Sounds like the stand on is running while draining the oil.
Nice ride dude thats awsome!!
Thank you!
You mow 3 acres with a 48”? Go get you a 61” you wont regret it. Thanks for the review
Aceite 20w50... Ese aceite usa ese motor ..?
What size trailer are you running in this video?
I agree these a comfortable! So are the john deere stand ons... the wright stand on are not comfortable at all they are very stiff! For the price of these bad boy stand on is not bad at all! I'd get one if I do it will be my 1st stand on too right now I got a lawn tractor john deere e120
Love mine....
Any update on the mower??
we just bought a 61" revolt its a beast of a mower
Why do prefer stand on vs sit down
Our gravelys with the Kawasaki fx730v do excellent on the gas usage. I wonder if the carb needs adjustment.
To much noise
Pull the dipstick oil drains faster.
Any problems with it throwing the belt? Thinking of buying one and don’t want to have to deal with that issue
Do another review on the mower with the actual hours
u first
Almost built like the spartan kg mower... I did not like the spartan kg I'm too short and it felt awkward... I like the john deere 648m mower it's just right for me but I do like the look of this mower and that spartan look wise but not comfort and stand on wise
I melted my factory discharge chute as well. I added the 90 degree fitting to my exhaust. Only thing now, if the wind is blowing just right, the exhaust gets blown back on you and you’re breathing it in every other pass.
Carlilse pro trail 2 I think it's great tire and versa turf
I have the same mower , any web to order blades for the machine???
Pypes exhaust system can be reasonable if you can’t afford Flowmaster exhaust system you don’t know if you don’t try it first
Just FYI you can buy bottle holders to fit at any bike shop. that is just a bike bottle holder.
Well after another year or more, what are your thoughts now? Thinking of buying one. I have been using Exmark throughout my career, but thinking of changing. Just looking for your honest opinion after some additional time.
This has been the best unbiased review of the Bad Boy Revolt I've seen from someone who understands the issues full-time commercial/part-time commercial mowers are concerned with. Thank you very much.
You mentioned that the tires tear up the grass, is this also the case if your doing the proper 3 point turns. Thanks

Komo me salió esto en recomendados?
the lower valance looks clean underneath! very nice. that's usually the 1st thing to rust in States where it snows. I just put x-pipe and Flow 44's on my '79. Yours sounds awesome. Nice video! :)
I just bought the 54inch revolt 19 model. By far the best mower I’ve ever owned. Got it at a good deal it was a demo mower 20 hours originally $8100 financed It for 5800
Won't find those prices anymore
excellent honest review! my 2020 maverick with a kawasaki I thought was thirsty, it uses approx 4.5-5 gallons in the 5 acre property I mow (and it's thin farm grass)
Another guy said he was selling his Changed 4 deck belts 47 hours. How is yours running
So I have a couple of questions as I watched a review on the 36" revolt. He had 2 issues and if I can find the video I'll list it for you to see. He had issues with the deck pulleys and the belts getting slung off and shredded. Fairly low hours. Have you had those and dont know if the pulleys and springs are same on 36 and the size you have. The second was the black bar in the slot where the deck lift handle is. Something about getting in the way and keeping it from being operated. It slid over in the way. Is that a issue with yours. Not sure how long these mowers have been out and when he got his. ua-cam.com/video/dxQOEHaNq2E/v-deo.html
i see you removed the two bolts left right side that are used to lock foot platform in viertical position. why did you remove them? also question when you stand on the foot platform (it goes from angled up position at rest to almost level, does it make a pop sound? under the frame is a silver bolt that the platform comes i to contact.with, its in the middle of the.round plastic flex suspension system. so does yours make this pop sound?
That bolt with the spring in the middle of the platform is not a bolt it's the blade safety if that is not pressed up which happens when you stand on the platform the mower would shut off and sometimes you can hear it when you first stand on or get off
I have a Scag vride. I'm planning on going to either Bad Boy or Gravely. Are you still happy with the bad Boy? I'm planning on getting a 36 and 54 for next year
I just got a 48" after telling my self I was getting a 54" but I was told I wouldn't regret getting 6" smaller because it will go through all gates, easier to manubure, it fits almost every where. At the end of the day those 6" don't make a huge difference. It is a bit different but not a whole lot.
@@israelthegamer2456 how’d that 48 work out for you?
Dope mower.!
Would you buy it again? Looking to add a 36" stander for backyarda. We are currently running two 2019 61" Rebels. Hated the tires also, switched to TWEELS
How do you feel about the rebels?? I'm looking to upgrade and seriously thinking about a Rebel bit don't know to pull the trigger on it or look around for other options??
Or use bed liner there
You did receive the wrong shoot, my chute plate is flat were your is square on top, mine will close flat or has a lock that keeps it open an inch or 2, I didnt notice the cupholder falls out and I haven't had the ignition problem yet but I cant find glue to keep my foot mat on, I may sand a little to roughen it up
I have these tires on my outlaw XP and I hate them, they tear up grass and traction is terrrible. I am getting ready to buy a Revolt and was curios if these tires came on this mower or not.
Corey Roark Same here bud. I have a 2017 outlaw XP with the same tires and they eat more grass than my mother n law..........lol
I love the Reapers on my XP (and newer Rogue). I quit getting stuck all the time and they don’t tear up grass (from spinning) like the plain turf tread. Are you guys running them at the right 10-12 psi? Seems odd for us to have such a different experience.
You still like your bad boy stand on?
Thinking of picking one of these up for next season. How does it stripe?
It would probably do better on grass other than bermuda and st augustine. not terrible though.
You had the oil filler cap on that's why it was draining slow .
Made no difference on the last oil change i did.
I use a vacuum to suck the oil up through the dip stick. No mess. EasyPeasy
Great review.
