It's an exciting track, a mix of so many styles :-)

You can't help if you just don't like aesthetic of vocals, but Brandon's vocals are probably one of the most distinct out of any relevant band. You can pick him out very clearly, so your complaint being that "it's nothing new" seems pretty odd. I'm willing to wager that are plenty of artists you like whose vocals are incredibly generic by comparison. Not saying that as a slam to you because that's me too, but I just better ways to pinpoint what specifically you don't like about an artist because generic vocals isn't really applicable here.

I love Brandon Flowers and The Killers are my favorite band. However, music is so subjective I've learned it's not worth arguing over. There's a good possibility I don't dig your favorite band or artist.

He bases his vocal delivery on Bruce Springsteen

@benjamindavis4974 he seems like he leaned into it quite a bit in this song.... whereas other songs not so much if you're familiar with The Killers catalog.
